I had high hopes working for this company, however was left with a very sour taste in my mouth. ZERO culture, President hides in his office and can't be bothered to interact with his employees, lack of trust and transparency, dishonesty and no professional development. 

They have unqualified and unprofessional people in various roles that are a direct result of the demise and failure this company is suffering from. They ignore or push out the ones with the education and experience they've been lucky enough to obtain.

Little to no management skills for those in senior roles. The only culture I experienced and witnessed is one of fear, exhaustion, stress and mistrust. No solid enforcement of processes or procedures to ensure legal employment compliance or practices. People seem to do as they please depending on who they're related to or know. 

Overall just an awful experience and waste of time.

This company is brutal to work for. The management only cares about making themselves money and therefore will take the cheapest route possible. Staffed by immigrants who barely speak the language making it extremely hard to plan or take part in any sort of safety talks. 

Their equipment is filthy on the inside due to the ignorant and uncaring staff who work there. Want to get into a skid steer? Better find a bag to throw all the bottles into. Want to run a loader? Better bring a rag to wipe off all the sticky pop/coffee that the guy who was running it before you spilled everywhere. 

Want some job security? Nope as soon as they find a cheaper guy than you you're gone. 

I worked for them for two years and unless you are about to end up in a homeless shelter I wouldn't work for them. Plenty of better companies around willing to pay and treat you better.

A typical day at work consists of being ignored and no freindly faces
as well as no organization nobody speaks your language so it is almost impossible to know whats going on around you. I would say the hardest part ofthe job is having no positive reenforment for job well done your standing in the hot sun all day working with the not so friendly puplic and not getting so much as a pat on the back at the end of a long hard day.

Long hours and hard work but at the end of the day a rewarding feeling of accomplishment. Foremen have expectations and on time arrival and completion of work is one of those expectations. Working hard and actively finding tasks that must be done will keep you in better favor with your crew and foreman. Keeping organized and learning quickly are also valuable skills.

I really enjoyed working for Devlin, was really sad to hear about them closing the doors. I enjoyed coming to work everyday cause my fellow drivers made it warm an friendly (Respectful of one another) an the Dispatcher did an excellent job for each an every one of his driver's.

They "talk" about safety, but their actions are quit the opposite.  They keep records on safety meetings each month but they don't mention the content of those meetings.  Not a good company to work for.  There are far better companies to work for.

Very poor place to work. Nothing is ever organized. Always spend 3 or 4 hours every day cleaning and prepping a job that should have been ready by project manager before you rolled onto site. Seldom had bathrooms available.

Meet at the shop, get equipment going, get crew off to work. Every job was different. 
    Co workers were good.
    Hardest part was pricing the work that needed to be done. 
    Most enjoyable part was being told by customers that we did a good job.

I enjoy my work and my position there, good beneficial plans . Friendly management staff ,  co-workers made this company a team playing roles  its  a plus for everybody to work with that company
