Impressed so far with the level of care and appreciation the company and my co-workers have shared.  My previous workplace did not care about us as people and this place is the exact opposite.   I have been here for less than a year but I have been provided with training opportunities and everyone has been welcoming and supportive as I develop my skills.   For a small to mid-sized company, I was surprised at how many opportunities I have had to develop new skills or to learn more about other future career advancement opportunities.    From what I can tell, they celebrate the growth of their employees and want to see everyone succeed.  I actually look forward to coming to work every day, which is definitely not something that I would have said about other jobs. 

Decent place to work.  Only left because I went to work with my own family.  Long days on construction crews but good atmosphere.  Be prepared to work in all weather conditions if working on crews.  Wage is decent + opportunity for overtime.  I was employed year round and the bosses were good to us.  They care and want to see you do well.

The owners really care and try their best. Some managers and employees have made work difficult at times and because it’s a small company one bad seed can make everyone’s life miserable but the owner truly cares about the people working and tries his best to show appreciation accordingly. Pay is good. 

Finding a good workplace is tough.  I have worked at several Chatham-Kent facilities over the years and Devolder Farms is one of the better ones.

I worked for devolder farms for a few seasons.tthe first season i was paid 17  an hour and was fab  welding..climbing  doining it all...they were not paying us workers fairly...well  as far as i know   everyone is paid differently and were told to keep your rate of pay hush hus...all in all  the turnover rate is high...work unsafe...shortcuts taken..unorganized...bad place to work

The owner is really smart and helpful. 
Beside him farm manager and HR take care of the business and employees as well.  
They see every positive activity and appreciate it

a lengthy discussion with the owner about the history and development of his business. the owner was very proud of his achievements and had high expectations of new employees.

Dangerous chemical vary dusty lot’s of raccoon skat everywhere not a place I would recommend to anyone they are family run business and treat people like slaves wage is way under average

Family run business. From farming to cleaning and treating soybeans to building grain bins. great crews and employess. Overall great place to work and I would come back at anytime

Was a great place to work during the time I was there. Great supervisors for the most part. The labour was hard and heavy but it was worth it.
