Where to start! Found this company during covid lockdown, work from home. Position I applied for was Lead Generation, that turned out to be a Soft Sell Position. However, you do not get paid for that position. The leads are so recycled that people on the other end of the phone claim the company has contacted them up to 3 times a day, which makes it frustrating and discouraging.  Management is unsupportive and lies to their staff about everything, and every week there's a new managers favorite.  Hourly pay isn't fair for their expectations and commish structure is only achievable if you are they flavor of the week. You are given a script and expected to follow it verbatim,  very Robotic and you are monitored for your every second of your day. Between the hours of 9:30-5:30 they own you and don't believe in any breaks in addition to your lunch break. I could go on and on but I'm relieved I'm gone from there and recommend you keep on looking for "Anything" else.  Actually, toilet bowl cleaners would be a step up!


Unfortunately had to leave due to medical issue. Would love to return in the future.

I've been a sales agent for a long time and having worked in some early "boiler rooms" and many "fancy" office spaces, the place immediately struck a positive chord with me! This is not a pretentious showy office that just blows a lot of hot air! 

The first day I walked in, a warm friendly HR person greeted me. She helped me get oriented. The managers and staff were also welcoming and helpful. 

Fresh air flowed through the place,  the smell of freshly popped popcorn...I was in heaven! 

Small cozy office where you receive individual attention and coaching. You are not just a number, you get what you put into it. Hard work is rewarded. The managers know their stuff!

CEO is not arrogant and stuck up. In fact he goes out of his way to ensure that employees are comfortable and happy.

I worked this job less than a week before quitting. The “training” sucks! You start work doing half days then spend half your day cold calling DAY ONE, then no more training! I asked a billion questions to try to understand the role better and was met with “we don’t believe in training people in depth, it’s a waste of our time since most people just leave.” Aka we don’t believe in investing into our employees, we will make it hard for you to grow and we will easily cut people because we have no drive to help people. My direct coaches goal was try to come off as funny and quirky as possible, cringed me out, you’re allowed to be silly but at least be somewhat professional and not make me feel “incompetent” like he said. Just over weak company structure. Invest in your people and into new leads, burn the horrible script.  Also it’s unpaid lunches, unpaid breaks and not overtime. Plus since it’s in montreal you get 2 sick days. 

When I first applied they were fully aware that I was a student and that I'd be able to work about 3-5 hours a day. They had a dialing system that needed to be initialized by only one person of the management team and I would give time slots of 1-3hrs depending on the day and on my school schedule. The person in charge of setting people up made 2 attempts both of which were outside of the allotted slot. I gave these slots for over 2 weeks and not once did I receive another call after that initial week of me starting. This company is very poorly managed and very disorganized and when you are upset because they're rude to you because they can't set you up because you're in class you're met with more rudeness. Overall, I would not recommend this job to anyone. 

If you are looking for "just a job" you won't be stay in Digitech for a long time, but if you are eager to learn and you work hard, you will be seen and appreciated. 
Personally, I believe everyone has a chance to improve here as long as they are serious about what they are doing. 
Managers are open to new ideas and treat you as they are your  friend not your boss. It makes it a friendly place to work that you feel free to open up when you have a personal problem and you do not need to be worried about being judged as mangers will understand you. 
Colleagues are so nice and kind. They welcome you when you are new there and they help you to learn the job until you get ready. 
There are free snacks, coffee, fruits available. You can enjoy a nice balcony and Saint Catherine st view. It is very near to metro station.

This is perfect job for English speaking folk. This job is for a person who knows what thy want. This job is for a person who is good over the phone. I personally enjoy working in Digitech Payments its a professional yet fun atmosphere. Managers really care about the ppl here. If you really do have a can do attitude, are focused, easy going with an ambition, this job is for you. I personally am witnessing people being promoted after just 2 successfull month in the company. This is the only phone sales job where I am getting genuinely upset when phone lines are down. I strongly recommend Digitech Payments for every age group's sales minded person.


When I think of Digitech, I realize that this is not your average call center. Never have I worked in such a professional yet fun work environment! It's the only place where the managers actually make you feel comfortable as an employee by offering understanding and assistance so you can reach your full potential in the company. Not to mention the great incentives which the company offers with regards to weekly pay, a great commission structure and surprise bonuses! Furthermore the location is excellent with easy access to the metro, tons of shopping and plenty of coffee shops. This is definitely the place to be if you want to be valued as an employee and benefit as an individual.

This is the worst company to work at in the field. You can be super talented and sit there for days on end with zero leads while it slowly drives you insane until they fire you randomly one day without even a warning. The leads are absolutely terrible, yet each day they will lie to your face and tell you they changed them and added new ones. Do you think your employees are that dense that they won’t remember who they called yesterday? 
It’s a cult. Either you agree with everything they say and stay positive through everything they throw at you.. or you get fired. Don’t do it. Take your talent elsewhere where it will actually be appreciated. 

Every other call centre that I've been to or heard of is just a nightmare. Digitech is completely different when it comes to valuing it's employees as individuals. They embrace differences and as long as you work hard and try your best you'll be fine. I had a really great time working there despite being dumbfounded at the blind stupidity of merchants across Canada. Regardless everyone i called was usually nice on the phone and as long as your customer service skills are on point and you can think on your toes its fine. Only con would be that there's not that many good headsets to use.

Started out as a lead generator/opener and was quickly promoted within 4 months to a statement representative. The potential for money is available in both positions. You get what you put in. Can be tough at times going through call after call after call, but seeing the paychecks makes it worth it.

If you're willing to take on the feedback that the managers and trainers give you, you will succeed. They're always around for any questions and concerns. It definitely helps having a sales/call center background but is not necessary as long as you know what you're getting into.
