Direct Traffic

In my opinion this is a very difficult company to work with and i would not recommend it to even my worst enemy. Seek employment else where. This company is cheap and only cares about their profit. Expect 16 hour days in the sun with no breaks. A month at a time away from home. They have all these policies and say you can refuse unsafe work. none of the policies are followed and if you refuse unsafe work you will be punished by being removed from that job site and not knowing when you will have work again. Instead of taking care of their experienced flaggers and giving them raises. They are constantly hiring new flaggers and the rate they go through employees is astonishing. They send brand new unexperienced employees out of town to run construction sites all by themselves. Expect to be treated like property if working out of town when on shift and when off. Don’t let the office find out you if smoke weed even though its legal. You will not receive the support you need if you have any physical injuries or mental illnesses. The office management couldn’t even set up a construction site if they wanted to so I understand why they expect the moon from their employees, they have never been in their shoes.

This isn't a job. It's a curse for people who did not finish high school. Honestly, they treat you poorly. There is no set schedule. You might be off work for two weeks without any idea when you will be summoned to work again. They claim you will make "a lot of money" however you will be required to work over 80 hours PER WEEK in order to achieve "a lot of money." Some people are left on the side of the road with for 8 hours without relief from the sun and they burn to the point where they suffer from blistering on their face. And there is only so much sun screen you can use. After so many applications the lotion seeps through the pores on your face and you will literally start to taste it on your tongue and your eye balls start to burn because it works it's way into your tear ducts. The one "supervisor" is more concerned with her fingernails, snap chat, and Facebook. No wonder the turnover rate is astonishing. I would highly recommend seeking employment elsewhere.

working with a company like this is not a good experience. working with this company you will be treated with no respect, and treat you like you are disposable to them. this company only care about money, I've been on site where there isn't enough flaggers so you ask the office to send 1 or 2 more people and their answer is well thats the number of flaggers the contractor asked for so thats all they get. i have gone with out a water/bathroom break for 8 hours if not more multiple times. its nice to get a break every once in awhile when you are standing for 16hrs a day in the hot sun. you get a low wage for the work you actually have to do. management does not care about your mental sate one the job site, cause things can get very stressful between the contractors, the office, the public yelling at you about something. 10/10 would not recommend this company to anyone.

Must be physically fit and mentally aware to work here.
Safety is the focus of the company.
The company main purpose is to provide Traffic Safety for Clientele, Road workers and drivers ensuring the safest possible practices for workers, drivers and traffic control. 

Work hours are flexible, and difficult to predict. Some work is scheduled, while some is call on demand. hard to predict when working and need to ready.  Not a normal shift work.  Work times & hours vary according to demands. 
 
Top managers, are approachable, and accommodating. They stated the company from the ground up.

I liked the people I was working with and was grateful for the trust and confidence that management showed in me. It was my first job in this field and they took the time to train me well. I left due to lack of work not any problems with the company or any personal that worked there. I worked all over N.S. And also did some work for the company in Ontario.

Fast paced environment, lots of training courses, hours are good, good coworkers, hotels and meals are paid for on out of town crews, don’t have to take your personal vehicle to out of town sites like other companies, wage is ok but the hours are good, learned lots and got to travel, lots of good life experience, management made sure we were safe, the supervisors were all good to work with, 

Between spending 16hrs in the sun with no breaks and being shorted on overtime I wouldn’t recommend. Management is a mess in general and you can expect to be working long hours in various locations from SK to MB with no knowledge of your schedule until 5pm the night before. Expect a revolving door in terms of coworkers as they hire anyone with safety boots. 

the only thing in this area of work is that the work various every week sometimes be a month for any work to be available sometimes longer.
 Best part is the long hours when there is work up to 16 hours most times.
 Mostly  in this type of work is patients,indurance and understanding between management and myself .great work invirament when there is work.

Worked any time day and night when needed. Learned the transportation polices when dealing with controlling traffic. Management was easy to talk to and loved working with my co-workers. Hardest part was working in the wet and cold weather. I loved meeting people.

I work at direct traffic for 2 years, my job there was seasonal, the 2 years I work there I enjoyed it a lot, I had a lot of fun, I went to many places with them, the only reason why I leave this company is because Im looking for better opportunities in life
