- A typical day would be coming into work with all employees saying hi as you walk in, checking email, 1 hour motivation meeting, going on the phone and cold calling people for appointments.

- At this job I learned how to be in control of my own destiny and how to work the henkle system.

- The management was great, very easy to talk with and always helping solve any issues that may have arose.

- My co-workers for the most part very pleasant people, the odd time someone would have a bad day and take it out on someone.

- The hardest part of the job was dealing with sitting all day.

- The most enjoyable part of the job was helping families have a lifetime of savings.

Management has little value for employees who have proven their abilities, all about numbers, has a revolving door re: hiring and terminating, low wages, management has bullying tendencies, has been reorted to Workplace Health and Safety who took steps investigate and assure a policy was put in place for first time.

Great people work here but management shows no appreciation for hard work or loyalty 
After ten years of service many were still on minimum wage 
No cost of living increases for years
expected to work long hours without overtime pay
Benefits are ok but there is no pension contribution
2 sick pays per year after that you don't get paid

A typical Saturday at work included a relaxing hour of group activity games before the work day started. In this workplace i learned the value of team work, and management was the most encouraging and supportive team i have encountered.

Their system for advancement was set up so that it was difficult to make sales goals. I was the only one making them most didn’t. You had to do tasks to qualify to do sales presentations some people got special treatment and lower expectations in order to qualify which made it unfair.

Being an employee for directbuy was a great experience. From the day I started I felt welcome.  The management team was great and  were willing to help its employees in any way they could.  I enjoyed this job very much and would recommended it to anybody

I enjoy where I work, my job comes very naturally to me and I am very good at what I do. My job is 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm which is perfect because it enables me to do other things.. i.e. working another job to make more money for my future.

I had a good and helpful supervisor who helped to learn new things but her husband who was the owner of the company was strict with all employees.

The concept of helping families earn a better lifestyle through buying at cost is as relevant today as it was when it started.  Company must make ease of use for customer better as they compare with Amazons of the world

very secretive when trying to get members to join, wouldn't let people think about it even over night, when they had their first appointment they had to make a decision and it was expensive for a membership
