Great places to dip your toes in on the sales side. The unfortunate part with the sales aspect of this workplace (specifically on the Ontario side), is that you must get permission to do anything in regards to taking care of your customers & growing your area, your manager won’t necessarily have an open mind & assume they know your area better then you even though you’re boots on ground & theyre in the office. If you’re an experienced seller you will find this very limiting.

The Salary is very low compared to market standards & use the excuse of commission bonus as the reason they pay you so little. You only get a raise every year, rates are very low, around 1-2% increase

Expect to work 60+ hrs a week in the spring & fall only to receive no overtime pay whatsoever, no extra days off, just nothing.

Sales people be weary, however on the warehouse & delivery side of the business. Nothing but great things!

Since starting at Distribution Stox I have nothing but good things to say about the company.  The team here is very committed to helping people and ensuring that they have the best experience. Working as a Sales account manager is a fulfilling experience. One of the most rewarding aspects of the role is the opportunity to build and nurture lasting relationships with clients. every interaction is a chance to understand their unique needs and the business better, provide tailed solutions and grow partnerships based on trust and mutual success. 
This role has not only allowed me to grow professionally, but has also given me the chance to make a meaningful difference in the business and lives of those I work closely with . It is truly rewarding knowing my efforts contribute to shared successes and partnerships. 

Your experience will depend on which location you work.

Do not expect much in terms of raises, or any other form of compensation. The company has a tendency to hire outside of the organization rather than promote from within. Management is distant, and not proactive. You  may be fortunate to work with a few good people, but the seasonal nature of the business makes it tough. Busy to the point of being unsustainable for 4 months of the year, and the remainder is fairly slow.

Would not recommend as a career, but not bad if you have an exit strategy.

Each day is spent fostering meaningful business relationships both; internally within Stox and externally with customers. 

Tire distribution is a fast paced industry with many competitors. 

Communication and efficiencies are crucial to success and Stox continues to raise the bar. 

The interview process and onboarding plan was well thought out and thorough.

Management has brought in their own ways of doing things that includes: no chairs, no tables, changing delivery routes that make no sense and spontaneously changing people's work hours for no valid reason.

For years, people enjoyed working with this company, but as soon as this new management took over, people left in droves. 

I would absolutely not recommend considering this place. 

Distribution Stox treats it's employees fairly and kindly and provides opportunities for support and professional growth. The team members are kind and compassionate, supportive towards one another and foster a productive team environment. There are periods of the year which are more challenging than others thanks to the nature of the industry, but overall the work-life balance is respected.

The people that you work with on a day-to-day basis were amazing. It was the management that made it incredibly difficult to work there he basically turned you against each other
