Every day is a different day when it comes to sourcing and procuring commodities, that what makes it fun.  I have learned over the years that being self taught and gaining experience over the years at Mondial/ Diverse is viable.
In any sales position or a company's mandate, one thing is certain and that is growth. The difference that sets out each individual is a style and behaviour that one reflects.  I have grown and altered this over the years with difficulties and achievements at Diverse / Mondial.
The management and co-workers play a certain role in everyday's responsibilities and throughout it all support and laughter is what defines this work environment.

I liked the environment. It was different, not your typical corporate culture. It suits more self-motivated types not requiring a lot of supervision. The training was thorough which I appreciated, being such a unique industry. But after that you can do whatever works for you as long as you meet your objectives. They had high standards but so did I, which is why I think it was such a good fit. The people were good, management was friendly and approachable, the atmosphere was positive, and the outings were fun. The benefits could have been better, but other than that, it ticked a lot of boxes.

I liked it a lot. A good group of people. It's busy and can be quite demanding at times, but there's nobody hanging over you. You are given a lot of responsibility and trust. It's quite rewarding and you go home with a sense of achievement.
You choose your hours, there are lots of employee fun days, sports pools, treats. Not much room for advancement, but there are annual reviews. if you're happy in your role, it's a great job.

My time spent at Diverse electronics was amazing. I was given more than enough help to thrive within the company. Owners and managers are always willing to help without hesitation. The atmosphere at Diverse is great. The owners always make you feel like you belong. The Holiday lunches and Barbecues throughout the year are just some of the perks we received. Salary reflects those of competition and bonuses are awarded for success. Diverse is a well run company and I highly recommend trying them out.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The co workers are amazing and my manager was cool!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Cold calling. It is very quite in the open office. To make calls was very intimidating. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very controlling with the hours. Not much flexibility.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sitting in front of a computer screen trying to convince companies to switch suppliers and brands. Lots of dead leads to follow up on.

Not a place I would recommend to friends or foes. Very unfair work environment. My company my rules, if you don't like it, go work somewhere else, speech we got in the afternoon before the Christmas party. 

Before accepting a job offer, do your due diligence and ask them the rate of turn over. What is the average people stay in the job.  Why are people leaving? Find former employees and ask questions. Not a good place to work if you have low self esteem.

Company owners will not give raises, say they cannot afford it. But they have enough money to drive around in Jags and Mercedes. Front office people see lots of perks, warehouse people are only tolerated because they have to be there. Work hours never vary, 8:30AM to 5:30PM.

Nice group of people to work with. Some demanding targets, but par for the course at any sales job. Results correspond with efforts. Fun events. You can't work remotely, but you can choose your hours, and no evenings or weekends, so good work/life balance. Table tennis is a good lunchtime diversion. Recommend.

It is all about numbers! If you are a hunter, this is the place for you. It is a very fast paced place. You're asked to do a high number of phone calls daily and you must bring results regardless market conditions.
