Repetitive in nature and unfulfilling (most jobs are)
Waiting over a week after final payday for cheque in mail, will not let you pick it up, that is a labor board violation.
No criminal record check. No standards for who they hire. No offence intended for the good people there, but how do you know?Are you working with someone who may steal your phone or lunch?
No good morning on day 1 of training when we entered training room.
Building is old and feels rundown. Like a relic from the 80’s.

The company is pretty small so everyone gets to know each other quite well.  The staff is great, the management is always there to assist you.  The boss is more than generous to his staff when they deserve recognition and praise.  We would set monthly goals and there were friendly competitions in the office and we had trivia nights when we met our goals on a daily as a team.  

There is some stress of dealing with debtors, it isn't for everyone but there is no harm in trying, can actually be fun because you need to pay close attention to what information they give you and you strategically use that info to your advantage. 

Unfortunately, there are no health benefits at this current time.

Starting wage is $15 an hour but you do get monthly bonuses which is great. The owner believes that the staff who work hard to make his business successful deserve to be paid for their hard work, which a lot of companies don't pay any attention to individual people, so that is great.

After working here for 5 years and counting, I can say this is the best place I have ever worked. The pay is pretty great, the people are friendly, and hours are very flexible. A few months ago we implemented flex hours. The building is open from 7am to 7pm. As long as I work my 7 and a half hours, I can choose when to work. If I want to take a longer lunch I can, as long as I make the hours up sometime throughout the week. I have 2 boys, and this makes it so much easier. Management is very understanding with almost everything. There is a large lunchroom with a big tv with a playstation hooked up to it.  So its not uncommon to have Guitar Hero battles with fellow staff during our breaks, which is a lot of fun.

I started working at Dixon a little over a month ago. The first week I had a hard time as I have never worked at a call center before. There was a steep learning curve, but after about a week or two, I got the hang of it. Meeting the people I work with made things a lot better too. 

Everyone is so helpful and wanting you to succeed. Considering pay is partly commission, I thought it would be a bit more cut throat. But to my surprise, that is  not the case at all.

Our management team is also pretty great and helpful.

So far I have been pretty happy with how things are going.

The people are what make this place great, but the commisions, the contests, and the perks are what make it amazing. We are very fortunate to have the managers that we do. There is always some kind of contest going on. Which makes things a lot of fun. We just started something called flex hours, that allow us to work the schedules that wok for us as long as we work the amount of hours we are supposed to work. Being able to leave an hour early on a day im not feeling well, and have the option to work it at another time through the pay period is awesome.

There was more to the job than they let on in the training and they leave you feeling blindsided. The training lacks any real information about what you'll encounter and after a couple days working they drop all sorts of paperwork in your lap to sign. They also neglect to inform you that so many hours after 5pm and weekends are REQUIRED!  Everything about this company is shady and toxic. Warning there is no HR - if you have an issue with management, you're talking to managment. 

I have been with the company for a little over a year. The job is great, and the people are great. I have made so many new friends since starting. My favorite thing about working there is the "flex hours". The building has a set open and close time, and as long as I work my allotted hours, I can work whatever hours I want. For me, I work to get a three day weekend every other week, The pay is average, but we get bonus' depending on how well we do. Which is nice to pad the paycheck

I worked there for 4 days and for the first 2 days of training there was 2 girls training us. The bigger blonde woman was just horrible towards us. Me and someone I made friends with there knew who was getting fired the next day because the blonde woman would look at you nasty the whole day and then you were gone. It's as if she didn't like you so you were gone and then the same thing happened to me. Just an awful experience I would never suggest this job to my worst enemy.

I have worked in a few major call centers in the city, but this is by far the best one. My manager is pretty amazing and is always willing to help us achieve our sales goals. Management is very down to earth and treat us all like people/friends, instead of just another worker. The work conditions are very comfortable and seems to improve quite often.

Pretty straight forward job, management is great and offers great feedback, willing to work with you to achieve sales goals. if you're not good with rejection probably not the best job for you, it's  cold calling but the bonus structure makes it worth it. what you put in is what you get
