Do All Landscape

Been at Do-All since August, now working weekends while in school. Normal schedule in Tuesday-Friday. If you want extra hours there is lots of stuff to do on weekends. Good staff, doesn’t really matter what crew you work with. Management is accommodating to work around your schedule (I was working a part time job) + in school now. I like the bonus’s paid to employees for good attendance and customer compliments. The only complaint is Winter hours are based on snow so kind of unpredictable. Not much you can do about that.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review to help future workers get a good idea of the job before hiring. 

What I have learned in past 6 weeks. 

- good place to work.
-average 40-50 hours a week 
-pay days are 1st and 15th. 
-days off are given if you ask for them early enough, 
-Good core staff of people that know what’s going on and can teach you what to do. 
-work week is generally Tuesday-Friday then bonus hours on weekend.
-boss is fair but makes sure things are done right, if not done right will tell you what’s wrong so you can fix it. 
-overall recommended.

I got hired first couple days of March, have been working on shop stuff, training, starting spring cleanup’s now. Training was about three days of how to properly hook up trailers, work on machinery, operate machines correctly, backing up trailers, loading machinery. About to half a day of health and safety, going over what to wear in the shop/operating equipment. what to do with certain, how do use certain chemicals. 

A lot of good young people working here, everyone seems friendly and easy to get along/work with. 

Was looking for summer job to make some money until end of September. Decided to apply with Do-All based on a few reviews of people saying they just worked the summer and that it was good. I have had experience in the past where companies give summer employees less hours than the regular employees, which I was trying to avoid. Been with you all for 1 month now, lots of extra hours if you want them. I am working every day except for Sunday right now. Lots of young, fun staff to work with.

Did snow removal every weekend this summer while in school. Ryder was accommodating of my schedule and had the crew pick me up directly from in-front of my building so I didn’t have to drive to west end. If you’re looking for part time works or summer work for students I’d recommend it as the cash pay is nice and can pretty much pick your days. I worked with 3 different crews and everyone was easy going and good to work with. 

Worked for Doall April - this week while waiting to start school. Got about 50 hours a week on average. (Took some short days during the heat stretches). Got $1.50 raise after first 2 months of showing up everyday lol. People are nice to work with. Hoping to be back next summer. Be prepared for longer days if you are applying. Most days were 7am-6pm. 4 days a week. Then shorter optional days on weekends. 

Standard landscape/construction job/hours. Job checked off all the boxes I was looking for. Pay is competitive, hours are really good. Lots of extra work if I ask. Good staff to work with. Shop is on west end of town on winterburn so might be too far if you live south or east other than that good place. Year round company is a nice change as I’m used to being laid off in winters. 

Interviewed on March 15, I was told that I would be contacted this weekend either way if I got the position or not, interview was about 20 minutes long. Was very relaxed, got told a lot about the company and what they expect of me, and who they are looking for to join their team. Heard back this morning with a job offer and a start date. Will be starting next Monday. 

Was a little apprehensive to start with a new company due to Covid. But after finishing my second day of orientation I would highly recommend Do-All. Lots of separation between staff, masks provided as well as truck cleaning/sterilization. I wouldn’t say I’m a germaphobe but it definitely was nice to feel like I’m safe to be back at a job.

I was looking for a part time job on weekends and every second Friday to make some extra cash. Reached out to Do-All, they contacted me every weekend to see if I wanted to come in and help one of the crews. Good environment, friendly crews pay was fair. Met at their shop on the west end and rode with one of the crews for the day.
