I have worked with this company for 6 months and all staff members are friendly, kind people. I leave the house at 9am and am home by 2pm, which is impressive considering it ALMOST covers the bills (I am a single person who lives with roommates, no dependents). It is a perfect job for anyone who values their leisure time, and/or has a side hussle (I am a creative). The responsibilities are straight forward, NOT emotionally / mentally exhausting, its nice to be outdoors and hang out with the dogs, and the company screens all the dogs they accept and helps curate a pack that gets along and whose homes are located on a convenient route. I'd say the most uncomfy the job gets is when it rains, or it's chilly, so if applying, be prepared to dress for the weather! I also have needed to add more yoga and stretching to my schedule to counteract the tightness in my legs from walking (mind you, there are several parks and trails in the area, so you get to decide if you want to go on a trail walk, or be in an enclosed dog park). It can also be a little lonely if you miss your coworkers at the park one day. But overally absolutely heavenly job in summertime! Opportunity to board dogs over weekends for extra income.

A phenomenally well run organization. Both the owner and the manager are wonderful human beings who actually care about their contractors and their clients. I’ve never worked with such a consistently high calibre of people in what can be a bit of a sketchy business, if you’re familiar with some of the other dog walking companies in Toronto. Their success is reflected in the number of ridiculously long-term clients they have retained, and the length of time most of their walkers have been with the company. There are very good reasons Eglinton Dog Walker is consistently voted the top dog walking company in Toronto. This place delivers what many of the others only promise, to both their clients, and their contractors. If you have a chance to work here, do it.

Eglinton has a great team of staff and a wonderful manager who ensures that we are all happy and have great groups of dogs to walk. They are very organized for a dog walking company and I couldn't ask for a more fun job.

The management is amazing and everyone cares about the employees’ well-being. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Your vehicle may get pretty messy.
