Awefule company to work for. The city manager threatens employees with write ups over small issues. Expects a half hour or more of free work before and after your shift. There is never enough staff hired in case of illness or family emergency. And which such case happens. You are in trouble for it. And then you are reprimanded and written up for it. No one will own up to there mistake and always has an excuse that it's not there fault. With management that does not support there employees. They hire and fire many good people with potential. If it's a slow day and you cannot make the selling targets. It's your fault tour not trying hard enough. The manager is very hard on the employees that I've heard of staff breaking out in crying and having to leave with a write up.

Team members are treated poorly by upper management and city supervisors. Requests ever made by yourself won’t be taken into consideration even when you have a lot of experience. If you over pump a customer they guilt you into paying for said gas or get “warned” that if cash is to low that you will have to sign over your bonus. No room for advancement within the company. You are forced to work alone even if it’s a cheap gas day but a “stat” holiday. Head office is a den of thieves that are just looking to mak money with no care for employees that work the stores

Domo is a great business to help get you some experience with weather, cash handling, sales, management. my only issue with the business is its not for me. I learned a lot from Domo, balancing sheets, inventory, ordering products. The workplace is a little low end with some of the people they hire, but the highlight of the job is being able to work alone. thats where the real experience comes from. 

Domo will give you a fast paced enviroment, weather conditions, store management, cash handling, customer service. As I have said, its a great business for experience. Bonuses are a bonus.

A typical day at work would be standing around behind bullet proof glass server customers cigarettes and attending the gas pump reader from inside. Also stocking the chocolate bars, gums and coolers as needed.
I learned how to do gas dips to check the gasoline levels in the tanks underground.
Management was alright. 
My co-workers were nice people.
The hardest part of the job was waiting for my shift to be over. Time went by so slow with little work to be done all the time.
The most enjoyable part about the job was learning something new in a different kind of customer service job.

This is typically a standard gas station job with a mellow overall mindset which was good because we would fill gasoline, clean windows, sell convenience store snacks and drinks for a target the whole store aims for to get a bonus for the month. Co-workers can depend and the hardest part of the job is making sure the cash is balanced at the end of the day and the paperwork, although it is a pretty simple and easygoing job in my opinion but you do have to be fast and get to each car when they show up. Customer service is a plus in this as well as sales to up sell.

Relaxing place to work with daily tasks you must get done. Sometimes you work alone, sometimes with another attendant, but you are left responsible for managing everything at your station through guidelines set by company. Supervisors are reachable and check in once a day. Recommend being good and quick at math if working here. 

start the day early check the cash, count the shutter for any mistakes, you learn to talk to people, learn how to count money and how to be responsible for the store on your own.
Management is good, you could almost say "hand picked" for their job, that being said overall responsible team.
hardest part is the first few weeks of work for you to get to know what everything costs and located.
most enjoyable is the people you work with, easy to talk to guys around your age with similar interests.

It's a right place if you want to improve your skills to communicate. Management is not good, even not bring you the coins need in the cash register. You might have a $230 bonus every month it's the only a good part. Customers treat team members like slaves, though some customes are very nice. In winter you have work outside even it's -40C.

I regret my decision to ever work here. The management would rather keep a staff who is immature and rude and condescending just because they've been there for years than to keep a wonderful worker. Definitely won't recommend anyone go through the pain of the north mount location.

Working at Domo was a very fruitful experience for me as a new comer in Canada in getting aquainted with the Canadian Speach.
Each new day was a new experience meeting new individuals. At the end of each shift you can have from 10 to 70 $, At times it may be very stressful due to high number of customers and high expectatiions of customers
