What is the best part of working at the company?
Employees are treated with respect, fairly, feedback is honest and constructive, dialogue with owner, supervisors and office is welcome.  New ideas are welcome.  Schedules are consistent and most changes are accommodated.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing stressful really.  Occasionally, a Well site supervisor is unreasonable but that isn't a Double J issue. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This is a company that cares about you.  They call daily, listen to and act on requests, are helpful with getting you to the site when help is needed, treat us well, and with respect.  The office, supervisors and owner are all approachable and will work to help you out with  whatever request you make.  It's nice to work for a company that cares and gets to know you.  


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stay on location.  Do a machine checkover and shift change.  Do site hazard check.  Work with the rig guys and WSS to know the program and help.  Having drilling rig experience has helped me to know the process.  Keep machine clean, fuelled.  Set up my cross shift for success.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They are always treating everyone like family. The owner is every involved in the day to day operations and don't be surprised if you get a call from him just to see how you are doing. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Just trying to make sure everyone is happy. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is great to deal with they always listen to what you have to say and help in anyway they can. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I talk to the operators and make sure everything is running smoothly and go out and see them and check out the equipment

Operating a 16-20 Ton Excavator Around a drill site assisting the Rig crew.
Lifting Pipe with Fork Grapples Combo. Tight quarters around some sites your always working in and around million dollar equipment, and people. 
The job pays well with LOA not taxed . Lots of work .Most crews are awesome to work with. The owner always reaches out to check on you to see if you need anything. The machines are well kept services regularly . 
Great place to work. The pace can be both very fast and very slow. Double J  are very Safety Conscious.

Paid well below industry standards
Excavator’s are absolute junk 
Most operators are terrible and incredibly useless but management does nothing about it 
Office is incompetent and owner has absolutely no clue how to run or maintain an excavator 
Field supervisors talk a big game but you’re left to fend for yourself. 
Always having to use your own vehicle and tools for work purposes with no reimbursement 

Work safe be productive, fallow all the safety rules from the company an osha team work briefing Avery morning about the work you going to do during the day, comunication is very important to work safe. Respect everyone 

Constantly hiring unskilled and dangerous operators. No drug testing or background checks to determine if operators are actually competent. Not a safe place to be 

Garbage company
Mentally and verbally abusive ownership and management. You receive NO help or guidance and are blamed for all of managements shortcomings 
Money randomly disappears from paycheques
