The hours were good but what they pay you and what benefits you get is garbage. RNs and LPNs get paid the same. You work with the same patients every day so what you do is very repetitive and that makes the job so boring and you don't get to use most of your nursing skills. When you make a mistake at work, the management team will put you down on what you did wrong so you feel extremely bad and you don't feel like coming back to work. It shouldn't be like that, you should learn from your mistakes, not be put down for it.  Employees that work hard will not be acknowledged for there hard work and some nurses will do all the work while some nurses will only take 1 patient for the 8 hours that they are there and these nurses don't even get a talking to!!! Employees are very quick to rat on other employees. Employees are not acknowledged for there hard work and are only acknowledged for the things they have done wrong.  Management can never make decisions on there own, it always has to go through head office.  Also if you bring up an issue to management, they say that they will take up the issue with head office but that never gets done so you don't feel like a valuable part of the team. Also the amount of days they give you for vacation time sucks. The only thing I enjoyed about this job is interacting with the patients because they were so nice. If you are thinking of applying to this place, don't do it because you didn't go through 2 years or 4 years of school and did all that hard work to end up working at a garbage place like this!

At times this was a fun place to work. I enjoyed the staff I worked with for the most part and the hours were great. The job itself is brainless and boring and takes very little "nursing" skills. 
As I worked here longer and longer I realized how lazy the management staff were and how little control they had over ANYTHING. Everything had to go through Head Office which were a bunch of people who didn't work on the floor and know what they were talking about. Policies always changed and there was no freedom. Even when I disagreed with a policy and it went against my nursing knowledge, I still had to follow the clinic's horrible policies for treating patients. The pay and benefits are TERRIBLE and much less than a RN or RPN should be making. 
If you want a dead-end job with decent hours this is the place for you.

The day consisted of opening up the clinic having it ready for patient service.  I went from working as a receptionist to becoming a clinic manager, I learned how to prepare proper documents, involving staff evaluations, meetings and corporate documentation.

We were a team of 5 nurses 1 receptionist, we worked well as a team, everyone was very respectful in the work environment, the main think I always stated was to have good communication.

I would say the hardest part of the job was that it was a corporate company and there is always office politics.

The part I most enjoyed was working with patients so that they could attain their goal of weight loss and seeing the success.

I worked at Bernstein for a year and found the job fairly easy.  RNs and LPNs are paid the same wage, which is quite low.  The reason why people stay is because the job is relatively easy and offers consistent working hours (Mon-Fri) with weekends and holidays off, which is perfect for those who have families.

I found the clinic mangers were fantastic but unfortunately, upper management and the office seemed to like to micromanage every aspect of the company as well as change policies quite often (for no good reason).

I did enjoy the work/life balance but the job became boring and repetitive over time. 

The pay was good, the team was good but we received a new clinic manager and she was not effective in her position. She was lazy, rude and unprofessional to her staff as well as to some of the patients and despite having brought up my concerns to the regional manager, her behaviour did not change. 

Other than that, it was a great place to work, but it did not offer a lot of stimulation in that the tasks were the same every day and there was not much of a variety in the care that we provided. Good if you like doing the same monotonous task, but not good if you need a busier, more challenging pace.

I enjoy every single day at work because of my employer and co-workers as we all work together as team.  I learned different skills at different work places which was always exciting.  The hardship part of the job is when one of us is unable to come to work because it disturbs our everyday routine but then we try to manage somehow and get our work done.  Working as a team is very enjoyable as we don't get bored and we get to know each other well, which helps us to reach our goals.

Answering phone calls, weighing patients, booking appointments,
stocking, typing. I have learned to work well with people and ability to work in fast paced environment. My co-workers are great, easy going. Starting at 6:30am was hard, lifting heavy boxes for stocking products. The most enjoyable part of the job was communicating with clients, greeting them etc

was a good company to work for, just not in a province that is going into recession. 
there was not alot of educational advancement or advancement into the career such as management 

did like that was able to do things after work as was off at 230 *think that the hours of working have changed now 

didnt like that was treated like back in school with what was done wrong in every chart that you wrote in and got little sticky notes.

I have learned a lot of managerial task and handling patient concerns even on difficult situations. Not getting much support from managers. The hardest part of the job would be balancing patient care and administrative duties. The most enjoyable part of the job is the interaction with deifferent kinds of people.

I would not recommend any one to work there or attend as a client. The program is too expensive. Weight loss may be acheived however it is unmaintainable. Employees are not compemsated fairly. Policies and proceedures are unfair to both clients and employees alike!!
