Initially they sell you the dream of a stable career  with great perks and a supportive human resource staff.   The handbook states that there is a graduated system if you are performing sub-par, however that is not true because you don't get any feedback when you're new and they turf people for no reason, no feedback,  except for the standard excuse which is "you just aren't the right fit for this company, it happens". People who worked so hard never got in any trouble, never late got canned in less than a month for zero reasons. HR sits there in silence"the first three weeks of my employment they got rid of more than one third of 60, and had a new mass hire ad within the agency the whole time.They throw you in feet first with very little training.  If you're partnered with a great trainer it's not so bad but most give you the bare basics.   There are only a few people who have been there more than 9 months. People with 3 write ups in a month kept their jobs why?.I feel sad for all with tons of experience that lost their job without cause. Why pay benefits when you can change staff constantly? A girl who was written up 3x in a month twice in 4 days keeps her job!  Good luck. I quit.

Former employee : April 12 2019.                   Not a very supportive company to work for. Say what they want to cover their own butts I started there in January had some health issues caused me to miss some work. Was put on modified. 2 days before my probation was in. They let me go. Reason. Wasn’t a good fit. When in all honesty I was really a threat to them. Cause I was fighting them in how they treated me with health issues. They should really focus on who’s actually running the show. Like supervisors, HR etc. I feel bad for the ones who have been there since the beginning and are as well on modified work and being treated like a caged animal. And are to afraid of saying anything. I felt I was being bullied and harassed and because they let you go before your probation I was unable to defend myself.  In my orientation bullying is unexceptable and modified employees should be treated as an equal. So unfair bad bad management. Hopefully the next one can speak up and not be tossed to the curb before it’s to late.

Managers are fine people, they care and help you learn from their experience. Backstabbing culture within coworkers. Most coworkers have seniority and instead of helping you, they let you fall under the bus so they can blame you and make fun of you at your expense.   
The cherry on top: Don’t you ever get sick and please try to make sure no one in your household passes or gets sick. When any of these things happen to you, they will tell you straight to your face: “You know? we don’t really like people who gets sick” and will remind you right away that they will remember it when they have to let some people go.  
 I think that’s the most scary culture I’ve experienced in a job. 

Pay is good, but at the end of the day your health and dignity are worth way more than 22 bucks an hour 

All companies have positive and negative.  People say the raises suck but you still get a yearly raise.  Factory wise this company pays well.  There are also some very cool people who work there.  Good people.  The issue at Dr. Oetker in London is that you have some bad Managers.  That is the #1 reason people quit jobs or leave a work environment. Toxic management will cause good employees to leave even more than money will.  A toxic work environment will make good employees not care anymore.  It causes issues with and among the staff.  Stress levels rise based on the levels of your manager or superior.  Other than that it's not bad.  The gossip is worse than high school though compared to other workplaces.

The Company itself is very good. Salary and benefits are awesome. Health and Safety is excellent and great Social Committee. The work itself is not hard but the management style makes it very hard to work there. No room for advancement and Team leaders and Foremans have made it a hostile work environment 

The company has core values they say that they live by but unfortunately the Canadian plant in London Ontario does not not live up to it. I believe that if the head office in Germany knew what was going on in London Ontario they would step in and make changes that reflect the values of the company.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great place to work, people there are helpful and supervisors are there for anything you need. I highly recommend it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Every job has its upside and downs, nothing runs perfect no matter where you go for work. It's a good job to have.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great, if I could go back there to work I would. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lots of freshly made frozen pizzas, and machinery running all over the place. It's quite the sight to see, really.

Lots of work to do and understaffed department, made it stressful.   I  Received no official/formal training from my supervisor. The company just expected me to learn and pick up everything on my own.  I was woefully underpaid for all of my responsibilities and what was expected of me. Nice/helpful coworkers, but worthless management didn't seem to care about my work ethic, effort, or attendance, which was very surprising and disappointing. Too many rules and requirements.  Overall, I don't recommend working here. Waste of time!!!Stay away !!!!

its a good place to work, do different job daily. like work there, just need more money for living.  you make pizza, l find the company nice working for its just money like  to stay and find apart time to do on the site. they have good benifit

The people, some is great to work with but like other companys you the ones that make promplens

l keep to my self and do  my job, dont get into people try to make things bad.. if anyone can do this to they will make it

Every single member of management. Garbage. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As long as you keep your mouth shut it's fair. A lot of rats lurking thought, definitely don't open up to anyone.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come in and work. Then go home.

Very easy work in toppings for the pay and benefits. is a great place to work, 2 week rotating shift between mornings earliest start time is 5:45 am and afternoons latest you will work is 11:45 pm. Very clean and friendly environment in the toppings a lot of standing and packaging a lot of sitting  but bakery is very hot and a lot of movement and harder labor but you do get extra $ hourly rate of pay.
