Drive Products

I enjoyed my time at drive Products in the beginning. Very fair pay and your able to learn alot. Problems are it is very stressful and because of covid and regulations they were not very good with training.

Also because of this and other concerns from management they are quick to restructure and let go of employees.
I was in 4 positions in 3 years and was given severance.
There is a culture of false promises mixed in with the certainty of promotion, even management is not safe from this and changes to there position unexpectedly.

 middle management also makes the experience more stressful than it needs to be in such a team driven industry, trust between employees and customers is important so should trust between coworkers. Very competitive.




What is the best part of working at the company?
I'd have to say the best part about working their was that your coworkers were amazing 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Probably being lied to people telling u one thing and then something different the next also the equipment always brakes and their to cheap to replace them 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment as far as co workers their all amazing guys as far as ppe they don't supply repertoires to the steel Welders and they make u buy your own tools because they never have the right tools for the job 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's ok for the most part until management gets up and starts to pull numbers out of thin air that they expect u to do with in a day witch is not humanly possible.

I was in a pretty low spot when I started, so to be fair other co-workers were nice overall in warehouse, hit or miss from the shop. There was a serious culture issue, and management & owners operated as if it were 1990s still. I had brought it to a supervisor's attention was listened to but ignored afterwards. I left after realizing being talked to and treated poorly for the last two months wasn't improving, also listening to co-workers go off about current affairs in a manner that was truly disappointing. Best thing that came from this place was that they let us use a bbq for lunches. 

Company is good but management is X category. Always behind the employee and lot of scope to misunderstood the employees. Some time some superior do misbehave with the employee. Management don't understand that employee/work force are the asset for the company. Lot of hiring and firing culture. Employees always in scare for loose  their job as a result bad performance from the employee. Every time employee thinking that end of the day management will tell that from tomorrow you are not required for work.

I was in Management for many years with Drive Products. Like many other multi-generational companies, the original owners were fantastic. Once the business transitioned to the kids, the place fell apart. Constant layoffs and the entire staff walks on eggshells. If you are not family or a friend you can forget about moving up the corporate ladder at Driver Products. There are so many individuals that are in over their heads. Workplace culture is poor. Leadership is also poor and manages utilizing fear. 

Very stressful culture. Managers pick and choose who they like. A lot of gossip in that place especially from older individuals who should be professional. Constantly being threatened with being fired or being watched on a camera, tlked to like garbage. Best thing for me was 2 leave there. Managers r almost bullying u even ones from different branches.

The work was as to be expected, great people to work for. Other employees and myself made a great team. the best part of the job was you worked at your own pace after a small meeting in the morning, they told you what was expected of the team that day. the day starts at 8 a.m and you finish at 5p.m. The warehouse was kept clean and the forklifts were all new.

This company does not care about their employees at all. They go on crazy firing sprees every couple of months , leaving everyone stressed out and worried. The people in the warehouse come and go so quickly, no one is around long enough to learn how to do the job at hand, which leaves everyone scrambling around and stressed out all of the time. Have even seen fights break out. The place is a total dump.

The office environment varies from department to department but overall they are great co-workers and they are who make it a great place to have work. They are all willing to help you learn new skills all you have to do is ask but be careful because they will over load you with work if you let them,

Had worked there for many years too many. Witnessed many culture changes in that time. Management is horrible at Drive Products, they care ONLY about themselves, not their employees. If you are looking for a solid company to invest your future in? Keep looking. As others have said, much backstabbing. Very 2 faced, cannot be trusted.
