If you want to work in a place that allows bullying, wants you to work short staffed continuously, and loses staff as quickly as they are hired then this is the place for you. Management does not listen to their staff and allows workers who have worked there forever to bully and intimidate newer staff. Being short staffed is the norm and the residents and staff suffer. The psws are expected to do half the work of the kitchen staff (pouring drinks, serving food, taking orders and clearing table) this takes valuable time away from the residents, however management does not care. Staff are not being granted vacations because of short staffing. Some major improvements need to be made. Not only to retain the staff they have but to also improve the quality of care given to residents.

Dundas Manor is filled with the charm of being at home, its dedicated employees make it their goal to provide a positive and happy environment for anyone who's there family and residents. Providing a safe as well as hygienic place is a must. Coming to work and making one person smile is the highlight of my day.

Management sucks, had someone pass away and they wouldn’t give me time off, management was always rude never give you time of day, always short, managers wouldn’t help out even when I’m there office on there phone! Can’t keep anyone there 

-0/10 rating. Horrible atmosphere. Gossip and run by a family that’s been there longer than most of you have all been alive. Management ignore the short staffing and replace it with pizza parties and 5 dollar Tim cards to show appreciation. Thumbs down. 

I was only here for 6 weeks, completing my co-op placement for my PSW program. I do recall feeling quite rushed with each of the residents, and the workplace culture seemed to be pretty gossipy. I never sought employment with this company once my placement was done

This place is unionized and God forbid you take a shift because you will be interagated and they will cause so much trouble you will end up getting fired ..they all gang up on you and they have a click ..if you are not part of it ..watch out!!

I take care of residents with their daily care.  The most enjoyable part of my day is spending time with them & my coworkers.   My manager is supportive and is easy to talk to.  The hardest part of my job is wanting  to spend more one to one time with residents.  

The other employees are great to work with and the residents are wonderful. Its a very rewarding place to work.

It is a family atmosphere.   Residents are well cared for and staff do a great job.   My manager supports me and is available.  Like lots of places right now, we are always looking to hire more staff.  So consider applying here. 

Its a fun place to work, and there are always treats! Staff and managers are supportive and always there to answer questions.  I love working with the residents in their home.  So glad I found a good work environment.
