They hired me back in November at the Kitchener location and after 2 days I didn't bother showing up ever again. That was 7 months ago and I still haven't got paid for the hours I've done. Like the title says, if you enjoy working like a s-lave with unreliable shifts, tasks, lil breaks, and being disrespected/treated like you ain't human, this the perfect job for you. The work they have for you are very disorganized. They have you all over the place doing excess amount work. The weekly shifts were 2pm-"11pm" everyday except Sundays. You don't actually leave at 11pm you leave when they want you to leave. Breaks were only 30min a day. The employees there look very depressed, even after 2 days I was too. They act like they care about the quality of the stuff they sell but there's alotta roaches at the back and half of the produce they got were molded. They would separate them without washing and put the decent ones out to sell. Mike the owner was rude asf. First encounter with him was an argument because I was texting my ride while drinking some water since they got us working all day we have barely any time to do so (and don't try to justify the one 30min break). Mike tried me and thought he was the big man but I ain't raised like that, I'll talk back. The policies and contract they make you sign looks like some s-lave enroll form. $8.00 is deducted from every payroll for uniforms by the way. 

That was just a quick summary there's a lot worst. But overall, don't work here. Please respect yourself. Its not worth the MINIMUM WAGE. I'm very thankful that it took me 2 days to leave and not be stuck there and I'm at a good position in life that I don't need to be at a workplace like this just so that I can live. Goodluck.

I loved and hated this job. I adored the people I worked with, including the management but I think they all deserve better. 
I believe I was well liked in this company, I believe I had it easy. 
You will be fast tracked in your training. You will be required to stay longer than necessary. There will be a high turnover rate. Customers will berate you for not having products that are advertised. You will not be paid for many weeks after you started. You will not be paid on regular days. Your pay will be several days behind some weeks. 
Your first weeks earnings will be held hostage on the condition that you give your x weeks notice (it depends on your contract how many weeks are required) /when/ you decide you can't take it anymore.
If you do end up taking this job please understand that the management team are subject to emotional abuse. They are doing their best under awful circumstances. 
When you quit, expect incredible charisma and love bombing. Expect to be convinced to stay with empty promises. Expect for your heart to hurt because you have worked with such incredible people and expect better job opportunities to come your way.

I worked there for a grand total of two days, that's just how terrible it was. They were incredibly understaffed at the location I was working at. I was the only cashier and regardless of how much experience I have I received essentially zero training. The mats that they had for the cashier's were about the width of my pinky finger so you could still feel the concrete floors underneath you. They are in the right in terms of legality, however when you're scheduled a nine hour shift, expect to only receive one thirty minute break for the entirety of your shift. Trying to get ahold of management is impossible because they just sit in their offices all the way in the back room. Just whatever you do, heed my warning, work here at your own risk.

If hired on full time, they EXPECT you to work 60 hours a week with required overtime. They are closed on Sunday and that will be your only day off. Schedules are Monday to Saturday, no days off, 10+ hour shifts. Management doesn't care about you and provides no training. They want you to have 4+ years experience (which it states in their job application) so they don't have to train you. They have very little staff that sticks around so they expect you to pick up the hours that aren't covered. I worked 10 hours in my hired department and then was expected to work 4 hours extra in a different department or risk losing my job. 

A typical day at work consisted of clocking in and then asking a manager what tasks to do. I learned how to work cash. The management is not very good. All of the employees hated the boss because he always yelled at everybody when he was mad. He was very emotionally abusive for no good reason. The coworkers were amazing and didn't deserve the work conditions that they had to suffer through. The hardest part of the job was the long work days with very little break and the boss. The most enjoyable part of the job was definitely the coworkers. 

As an employee I was told to hide MOLD from customers! I wasn’t able to wear gloves while touching the mold either. Management expects you to ask before you get to leave???? lunch breaks are terrible half hour for anywhere from 9-10 hours of work. pay checks are rarely in on time when confronted about it the owner said all the employees are LGING about not know when they are going to be payed!!! stay far away from this place unless you like unsanitary working conditions and working for free

Do NOT apply here. The owner of this company has extremely poor management skills. The only credit one could give him is his ability to keep his business open. Other than this, he has very poor relationship building skills and will make you miserable from the moment you enter the facility up until the second you step out (also noteworthy is the fact that you will never “end” your shift when you are scheduled to). There are SO many better jobs out there where you will be treated with respect. Know your worth because this company clearly doesn’t.

Very unfriendly and equipment's are not proper in the work environment which made it more worse.

This is a place with a great team of workers. Any work place would be lucky to have them. Unfortunately they have been so emotionally abused and beaten down mentally I’ve the years by the owner and his minion. That they have lost their spirit. 
Money is used as a way to cover the abuse. Hours are long, pays are rarely on time and often bounce. You aren’t permitted to leave when your shift is over. Having to stay often hours after you are done. Owner goes on long tyrants about better times.

The only upside is the fact that good people work at the business. Ownership is a disaster and would rather blame you for anything that happens than properly run the business. There is no work/ life balance. You are expected to work 12+ hour days 6 days a week with no more than a 30 minute break. Be prepared for multiple weekly lectures about how people of this generation have no work ethic and will never go anywhere.
