This is a really stressful place to work with terrible work/life balance. I thought I was well prepared - they make "every second week 3-days off" sound so good, until you realize the opposite week you work 57+ hours.
Not a day goes by that the toxicity of day to day routines, management, co-workers, off-shift co-workers, bogus/arbitrary sales targets or the physical environment doesn't leech in and ruin your mental and/or physical health.

I learned what any first month jailbird learns, snitches get stitches (figuratively). Watch what you say and who's around when you say it because, *everyone* is a gossip, even head office. It can stifle your career growth unless you're "shmoozing" above the glass-ceiling then you can get away with anything including slacking off at work while simultaneously stepping all over your colleagues.

Upper management is unscrupulous - often guilt you into staying late/going in early, coming in on your days off, or even try to get you to come in if you call in sick. Surprise - no OT for staying late or coming in early - you're on salary. Contrary to the job posting store associates do not have the option to work at various locations. You can forget about trying to arrange a sit down to share your concerns / troubles with upper management. Mine were and continue to be ignored.

The bellhop uniforms they give you are atrocious and impossible to stay clean while performing so much manual labour. Like wearing dress shoes with steel toes? You'll easily get in over 9000 steps a day in them from patrolling the grounds on a regular basis, inspecting, cleaning (you are the janitorial staff after all - sweeping, mopping, scrubbing every floor in the building and toilets too) and restocking shelves. With all that, you won't get much time to sell, but you will get the patronizing "talk" from upper management when you're not hitting your targets.

Hardest part is probably losing customers due to being consistently understaffed. Nobody wants to wait 15+ minutes to buy some retail / rent a locker when the company just won't hire more people...or can't keep them happy in their job enough to stay. Which is very tragic, since it's very easy make customers happy and keep them happy...if they actually reach you and you're at least competent at your job.

Second hardest part of the job is getting home with a genuine smile on my face. It rarely happens that I leave and I feel satisfied with the day's accomplishments. It seems that no matter how hard I try to show pride in my work it boils down to reaching those arbitrary sales targets (sometimes not received until more than halfway through the month!) and getting back stabbed by other shifts/stores. The competition here is more ruthless than at a used car lot.

If you are looking for an easy job to make quick cash, and you are able to keep your head down and do your work, then by all means take the job. It is 13 hour shifts on your feet (they shun you for sitting down at any point) with uncomfortable shoes. The uniform is non-condusive to the tasks that you need to do and uncomfortable. You are responsible for every role (Cleaning, admin, sales/leasing, and maintenance) and often work with only one or two other people. 

The job is customer service based so guests yell at you almost every day for following the policy, with no support from upper management. 

Upper management hardly communicates with store level staff, unless they are shunning you about something. 

Dymon often gives impossible sales targets so that they do not have to pay out bonuses. 

For a winner of a humanitarian award, Dymon really couldn't care less about their staff. They fire people left, right and centre for small reasons, yet let some people get away with nearly murder without a slap on the wrist. Be careful what you say about the company, they don't want to hear about how they could improve. It's their way or the highway. 

Promotions are granted using the "Eeney miney moe" method instead of being based on actual experience or skill. 

Dymon spent $15,000 on custom Christmas floaties but keeps making empty promises about raises. (Don't expect a raise ever)

Dymon hardly offers a livable salary, especially if you are a single person. Don't be fooled by the bells and whistles they present during the interview process. 

Dymon doesn't value their staff or how hard they work to make money for them, so my advice is to not waste your time.

It was enjoyable in the start but then they send you to other locations that are 2 hours away and tell you its only for a couple days when its not, they are unreliable and untrustworthy with their words because they call it "training" but your just covering for the previous employees that quit so your not receiving any actual training(there were 4 people that quit the company during or before my employment)
They expect 110% from you when you don't know what your doing, you are expected to know what to do and how to handle things in the entire building with no training. every employee i spoke to there HATED their job and made corporate look like an absolute joke!!! 
they give you a three week training booklet but it is never followed or used at all, you are trained alongside your managers which does not give them the ability to gain respect from their associates. 
You are given tasks that should be done by head office and then when completed wrong or not to their standards you are looked down upon. the company expects 6 employees to maintain the entire building which is unacceptable and just not possible. 
The system they use is unreliable when completing one task it has to be inputted into 3 different types of programs, they are huge company but have their employees send out over 1000 invoices to their customers monthly instead of automatically. 
The job description given is not anywhere close to what you'll actually be  doing, the only difference between the concierge associate, the valet, store associate and concierge manager is the rate of pay and the fact that the managers get in trouble but are not given the right tools to complete the tasks at hand.  
this company is unorganized and is run by corporate men who want to make money,DO NOT work here unless you want to be physically and mentally taken down.

I’ve been a mover/ driver for 20 years and finally found a moving company that utilizes all my skills from leading a crew with the cleanest trucks to training guys that want to learn and appreciate everything you do. Humble and respectful and love making the customer happy. We go above and beyond and we love it. That’s the calibre we have created. WE DA BEST MOVERS!!! If you care about moving and giving the customer an experience that they will never forget come join our team. We are all family here. We help each other if a job is going too long. No whiners, No bellyaching, No wanderers. Just sweat and laughter with professionalism to boot. We kill it… We love it…
We are the dream team of moving. Let’s see if yur skills and attitude are up to snuff. When you’re the best you will be treated so and paid so with all the perks and bells and whistles.

Guaranteed hours, which is nice. The staff make the job, I think everyone who works here can agree. Aside from a select few who are incredibly toxic. Everything else is bad. Long hours, humiliating uniform that makes working your job harder. Seriously if they changed the uniform, it would solve at least a third of their issues.  We do heavy lifting, heavy duty cleaning as well as customer service. How are we supposed to look presentable to the public while wearing a 3 piece suit straight out of the 70’s after putting away hundreds and hundreds of heavy boxes or after scrubbing a toilet and mopping the entire drive through?  
Next, the pay.  Everyone says they haven’t received a pay raise in 3+ years? I’m new-ish, so this doesn’t effect me but that doesn’t sound right to me.  Pay your staff a fair wage and they’ll be more loyal.  I’m sure of it.
Anyways that’s just my two cents here.

I’m happy in my role as customer service bellhop cleaner custodian and maintenance man but a lot of the other people working here are not.  Hours are hours I suppose, but come on guys, how many LONG TERM staff have you lost in the last two months?  You gotta meet people half way.

This is a company where you wear many hats and get paid for one. 
If you work at store level you can only advance so far, two promotions in store and maybe you could go on to be an admin assistant from there. 
In the store, you work 13 hour shifts that total 83 hours in two weeks, the shifts alone account for the majority of the high turnover. 

If you last beyond a couple of months there's a lot of opportunity to develop skills. Obviously it's very customer service focused but there's also sales, administration work, and cleaning to do. 

This is very much a selling position: you sell storage space and you sell retail items. In the interview they boast $22/hour, it's actually $17 but can go up to 22 with the bonuses. The bonus are based on goals and almost always are higher then is achievable. 

The best part of the job is that there are various types of work to do in a day and the variety makes the time fly. You could be cleaning one hour then filing the next the spend a couple hours selling then spend an hour just walking the facility and engaging with customers. It keeps things interesting and makes the thirteen hours more manageable. 

Don’t waste your time with dymon. It has a ridiculous turnover rate at all levels of the company due to the terrible culture that’s been cultivated by Upper Management. 

Store level staff are straight out lied to by Head Office staff and fired/removed if they voice complaints or non-conformist thoughts about the company. 

Voices aren’t heard or requested from the lower level staff, as Upper Management makes no effort to hear what’s wrong with the company. 

The hours are terrible, guaranteeing a terrible work life balance and your pay is dependent on whether Upper Management wants to give you real sales goals, or inflated goals so they don’t have to pay bonuses. 

Even when bonus targets are achieved, often you have to fight to actually get paid what you earned. 

They hire/fire/lay off so many staff for such a small company that they are constantly short staffed and moving people all around the city just to keep the lights on. 

Dymon may look nice and shiny on the outside, but it’s a disaster within the company. Avoid this company at all costs.

The amount of tasks that have to be performed and completed daily vs the amount you get paid does not equal out. You are the facility custodian(cleaning bathrooms, retail, drive in bay, all 4-7 facility floors), the salesperson, the merchandiser, the leasing agent, and the receptionist. Shifts are 13 hours long during the week and in steel toes (which the company does cover but only approved styles are allowed). Staff are constantly calling out resulting in staff shortages and causing staff to work alone for 3-13 hours a day to manage an entire storage facility along with a retail store. Burnout is too real with this place. Management is all over the place and they don't do enough to make sure that their employees are happy. There is/was no HR department at the time of this review since they never replaced them when they left to work elsewhere. The only upside really is that you work closely with 1 or 2 other people (so you can develop close relationships with those you work with), the hours are consistent and the days on schedule don't change unless you switch to the other shift. Only reason why it's not a 1 star review. 

Toxic culture at work with sneaky upper management,
Lack of a good training program, with basically no structure. 

Upper management will talk to you in a condescending manner in front of you or in front of others. They expect you to maintain cleanliness of the whole building (it is huge) while serving customers... So get ready  for alot of that and driving the floor cleaning machine. They micro manage like nothing I have ever seen before. They also like to change your schedule at their leisure, regardless of what ever training you have to do (mind you training here is lackluster, and almost non existent). They expect you to stay even if you legitimately have to be somewhere else or have to go. 

Find another place to work that will treat you with respect, and has a good training program to give you the foundation they need.

From rude upper management to, unrealistic goals, to lack of training, micro managing etc... I would never recommend anyone to work there. You deserve better. 

Worked here for over 2 months, the job posting was very deceiving. I was a Sales Associate yet I spent 95% of my day cleaning. Was told in the training we would be making 1,200 after tax, yet my pay checks were farrrrre less. If I wanted to be a janitor I would have applied to a janitorial position. Very few sales to make, company is currently 95% full so most of your day is spent telling people we don’t have units available but we can put you on a wait list. You are working lonnnggg hours (13 hour shifts) and there is 2-3 staff at a store at a time so you can imagine the amount of work.

SKIP DYMON AND APPLY SOMEWHERE ELSE they fired me for no reason, told me I wasn’t a good ‘fit’ for the company. Yet all the feedback I’ve gotten from my manager, co workers and customers have been positive. Might be good for a temporary job , just don’t hold your breath they fire people like nobody’s business. 3 of my ex co workers I had training with also got let go this month
