Fun place to work with great rewards, managers easy to work with  and working with a great team made for a great day at work. Difficult collections were a challenge, data entry and customer service are imperative for success. Typically a day at work entailed, greeting patients, data entry of tests and insuring the proper samples were collected and packaging samples for transportation to the base laboratory for testing. Cleaning and disaffection all surfaces at close of day. I learned that great customer service makes the job worth while.

As a healthcare professional I treat every individual as a patient. Patients can struggle with many things and often when they phone they expect a degree of compassion. I try and extend this compassion to each and every individual that I speak with. If it takes an extra five minutes out of my day to make someone feel better than I am satisfied with that. 
This company focuses more on customers and steers away from the patient focus. We are discouraged from having conversations with patients and it is a more "treat them and street them" type of attitude.

I loved my job working in the lab, trouble shooting testing resulting, organizing and most of all teaching . I was very unhappy with the moral and tried through humor and potlucks to change the mood to no avail. That is the reason I sought new employment.

Management was always friendly and beyond accommodating. Co-workers were all very professional and courteous, very easy to get along with. As a casual employee it was sometimes hard to get consistent hours, but management did allow great freedom in setting my own schedule.

Worked good hours which were even adjustable

Management was constantly learning new things and adapting
The culture is a positive one of encouragement

Best place to work at. The team and management always available the assist when needed. The place is made of a diverse team of medical staff and lab technician that made it easy to integrate  with the team

The environment here was heavily based on favoritism and management was never wrong. It was challenging to work here if you have had experience in corporate services elsewhere because they build a lot of their processes based on opinions and not industry standard.

It’s a busy workplace, with mornings typically being hectic depending on your shift, while afternoons can be slower. The company provides proper training, and the coworkers are generally nice. You'll get to meet people from all walks of life."

I was in the microbiology department, dealing with specimen sorting and entering the data. I also dealt with the planting of the specimen for when the fungus/ bacteria grew, it could be reviewed by the microbiologist.
