Awareness of task priorities is a must before anything else. It should a responsibility of everyone to meet production requirement and completion to meet company deadlines.  An initiative in providing feedback is necessary to improve processes and corrective measures should be in place.  Employees should have technical skills and a thorough knowledge required in the job. Everyone must understand the company's standards and applies the necessary technical expertise to meet the demands and methods of operation.  The management should introduce cross-trainings among employees so issues can be addressed with ease if it occurs. Finally, respect and understanding among employees is one of the utmost importance for a productive operation.

No raises, unless you beg and then it's very unlikely you'll get much increase and/or anything more ... EVER.

No external training provided even though they ensure you this will be the case on your hire.

Many Philipino's work here I guess because owner is very intimidating and cheap.  I'm assuming he likes keeping his workers scared of him so they're paid minimum wages.

There is a lot of non-english banter that goes on where you never know if people are talking about you.  This should be considered illegal as we do work in Canada but it is never enforced.

They ask you to work over-time on very little notice, family life gets effected by this often.  Very poor pro-activeness on managements part.  It's all about what can be squeezed out by month end.

Been working at DSM for over 5 years now and I am so glad I left the corporate rat race of the larger companies where most are back-biting, power hungry, while trying to climb the corporate ladder and are fake in general.

The culture at DSM is respectful, honest, transparent and relaxed.  No pyramid builders or politics.  Everyone gets along and rotten apples are weeded out quickly.  

Extremely diverse and professional at all levels of the company.

I have nothing but amazing feedback for this company. From the company culture to the work we do. 

DSM gives you the opportunity to develop your skills, reach goals, and feel important/valued in your role. The company is very fast paced and can be stressful at times, but the work is always rewarding at the end of the day. The work ethic of everyone here is amazing.

Everyone from the production staff to management work together to get the job done - right. I have always felt welcomed, encouraged, respected, and included in the workplace. 

don't bother with this place. pay is way lower than it should be for the tasks performed and the product produced. The people on the assembly floor are nice but every one of them is underpaid, working at a place for 20 years making $1,000 parts and still making $17 an hour is disturbing. No efforts from management for employee retention, if it slows down at all you can expect layoffs. Everyone here is reminded daily that you are expendable.

Since 2000, DSM have provided our customers with flexible, customized manufacturing solutions based on their unique requirements. Our service offering includes quick-turn prototyping, volume manufacturing, testing, global component sourcing and box build assemble.

The company does good job at getting customers but seem never to give more to production people. Production doing so good and happy but good managers not stay because company not treat them good.  Production change when manager go away, people unhappy and have no more voice. I like all my coworkers, they make family but managers see production as not worth paying right money to.

Just a toxic environment. At first, they make you feel welcome but don't be tricked it is only a mask. Every single person in this place is backstabbing two faces. Too much Gossip. Too many favouritism. The Company doesn't appreciate or support the workers. They love to play a blaming game when things go wrong. No raises for very long time unless you beg. No matter how hard you work always feel un-appreciated.

Very good company to work with. The only problem is Salary. They dont give you any raise even if you are working for them 15 years.
They will give you minimum wage.
Different cultures like Phillipino, Vietnamese, Punjabis, etc. 
If you are on a contract then there is a chance they will hire you permanent if you are good with your skills.

Is a family company, they don't appreciate the people and most of the decisions are based on sister-in-law input.  The owner is doing micromanagement and if the cashflow is lower the first thing is sending people home.
