Earnest Ice Cream

from my time at earnest it was a very fun and loving workplace. they are very accepting and understand that people have a life outside of work and accommodate really well to staffs needs and personal life. it was fun and the work isn’t hard but can get repetitive. fellow staff were always really great and talking to management was easy when there was a problem but because of the tight knit staff it was sometimes hard to see results from issues with coworkers. all together a great job as your first or in between careers.

I really enjoyed working at Earnest! The people were all super fun, and the environment is pretty good. You’ll always have  fun on shift, and the hours are pretty flexible if you need coverage. However, it did start to feel a bit cliquey after a while once I noticed who managements favourites were. It’s quite busy which is nice and the tips are really good. You have to be careful though because you can seriously injure your wrist from scooping ice cream. Overall a fun experience.

Really amazing leadership. Incredibly flexible for a kitchen. A friendly environment that’s great for skill building.

VERY heavy (literally) workload

Truly inclusive and accommodating

Very seasonally dependent 
Some days you have too much to do to think other days you need to take lots of initiative and find helpful tasks to be done

The team and environment was awesome.

The volume of product they produce.

Super fun and engaging they honestly think of their employees first

Earnest Ice Cream Lonsdale gave me constant training to empower me in the jobs that I worked there. It was a super friendly and understanding environment for 2SLGBT+ people. And they supported their employees as much as they could.

Such a great place to work. You'll make lifelong friends, have managers who genuinely care about you and going to work is always a pleasant experience. Plus you get free ice cream and coffee. Best people, best owners. Definitely my favourite job ever.

Earnest is by far the best job I ever worked. The company is transparent with their beliefs and practices, with a clear purpose, an honest vision and meaningful values that are promoted in every aspect of the job.

Great place to work especially during summer;  they hire many people for the summer and tips are good but it will be that busy. The work culture is very accomodating and inclusive, but lots of young pals so gossips are there obviously 

I would recommend this job to any kind human being. It is a welcoming, kind, fun, enjoyable place to work. That CARES about the environment and current issues, along with supporting local!!
