I loved my time working at RAPS. There were times where it was quite fast-paced with payroll processing time due to the high amount of clients within the office, but staff always work together to make sure the workload is manageable and help each other out when is needed. I found all the staff friendly and easy to talk to, there were fun events throughout the year that the staff got to experience. Team building events, Christmas events etc. I would and have recommended RAPS to my friends in the area seeking employment. 

The work itself is easy to pick up and is a good opportunity to enter into an office position, the pay and benefits are fair for the workload, however the workplace culture is toxic. It is difficult to bring up any issues to management as there is a lot of nepotism from the director, even when some staff are consistently underworking. Also, similar to toxic friend groups in highschool, they take any opportunity to talk smack about someone once they leave the room. The databases and procedures are also extremely dated but no feedback is taken into consideration.

Working within the office is usually quite a laid back day to day experience. There are definitely busier times and some lulls depending on your position in the office. However my overall work experience has been quite pleasant. 

I might not be friends outside of work with staff but we all generally get along and can work together. We help each other out where needed which is always a plus. 

I enjoy coming to work every day to be able to assist the clientele that we have. It is pretty rewarding when you get to know the clients and their backgrounds.

Working for RAPS definitely has its pros and cons. Good for an entry level office job, good hours, and free staff lunches. Clients are great and a pleasure to work with. Workplace culture causes lots of unnecessary anxiety as you know you’re being talked about. Almost felt like being in high school. Management seems to discourage friendships and will often talk down on you. There is no room for advancement, no training relevant to position, and no positive feedback/appreciation. Nepotism galore and some staff really underwork. 

In starting my position with RAPS it has been very welcoming! The staff that work in the office are very friendly and I can see friendships being developed. I enjoy the day to day work of being able to help people in need and learn different ways of being able to assist. 

The hours are quite manageable and we have time in our day to all be able to have lunch together (monthly paid staff lunches as well!) 

I look forward to coming into work everyday which is a huge bonus for me!

I had a terrible experience working here. If you are not close friends with the manager or her daughters, there is no leaniency. Lots of micromanaging. The supervisors will talk about employees behind their backs to the whole office. Very strict on taking time off, unless you are in the clique. Unfair treatment and lots of turnover due to it. They really DISCOURAGE forming friendships with coworkers and giving help when needed.

I have learn bathing wounds dressing brushing dressing feeding etc and how to relate with clients and workers who train me supervise me the love and respect they show me working with RAPS is like working with family am much grateful for the opportunity they gave me , I have gain a lot of experience RAPS u are the best.

The environment in the office is very toxic. The position was advertised as human resources but there is only a minimal amount of recruitment. The staff do not talk to each other and the manager discouraged forming friendships with coworkers.
