I worked as a Promo Team member part-time while I was in school and I was also able to continue on while I worked full time Monday-Friday. My direct Manager was very flexible with scheduling my shifts around both my school and work schedule. We had a variety of shifts including: Sponsor Bar visits, postering Whyte Ave, League Champ Year End Parties, League Visits and promoting the club at large events like Beer Fest. It was a great part-time job that involved a lot of interaction with people and acting as the club's Brand Ambassador!

I would usually work 4 hours a night, I have to referee 4 games a night within a certain sport. I set up the court and run every game on time with multiple rules to follow. I also supervise and make sure everyone is being respectful to each other and having fun! I didn't have any co-workers that I worked with everyday. Hardest part of the job would be making sure you are in control and making sure everyone knows you are there and paying attention. The most enjoyable part is playing and interacting with all the people.

Really great place to work if you are in university. They are respectful of your availability, super helpful when you need them and trust their staff.

When starting you get lots of support from management and as you grow into your role they don't bother you unless you need help or have questions. Great place to work would recommend if you enjoy sports and a flexible job. 

working in an industry focused around fun, community engagement, and sport make this organization a lot of fun to work for. The management does a good job of ensuring a work/life balance is achievable.

Worked here PT to make friends and some extra money. Helped beef my resume with some group activities. Pay was not amazing but I was new to Edmonton and love to play sports
