I worked for 2 separate roles and 2 separate managers. First was amazing second was horrible. Made me scared to come to work. No training and expected me to know the role on my first day. Told me I am not able to use the washroom during meetings.   Would give direction on how they wanted something done. But then would change it once you made the change. Then complain about how long it took. No matter what I said they would not fix it.  Very cult  environment. Stay clear. 


Very clicky with upper management. Which is scary when it such a small environment. 

The pay and mileage was comparable to other merchandising jobs but the managements expectations were much higher than they should have been. 
We were part time but were expected to be on call 24x7. If we were unavailable due to other commitments it was cause for concern that the employee wasn’t committed enough, just very unrealistic expectations for the compensation. I did not feel they respected the employees very much and looked at them as being totally disposable. I do wonder about these other glowing reviews though as there were some much more honest ones posted about a year or two that have disappeared which speaks volumes.

What is the best part of working at the company?
As a Sales Territory manager you have almost complete autonomy to work as a consultant with your client contacts


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
To make all the calls as required in a three day work week.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very little contact with internal people, except for weekly contact with the Sales Manager.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start at 8:00am, follow your pre-planned contact list making sales calls based on banner priorities.

If you want to work for an organized, supportive and progressive team, I would suggest trying to get your foot in the door! Loads of opportunity and a friendly carefully selected staff make you feel lucky to be apart of the team. Technologically advanced with training and support this company wants you to succeed with the right tools and information.

Encore gives you the freedom to set your own hours. They expect you to be visiting stores on a weekly basis but the workload is never so much that this becomes a chore.
Very easy to talk to management, if you have a question it gets answered very quickly. 
I have been there for over 3 years and love every minute of it.

Management seems lost , limited info that changes weekly .  Don’t take kindly to push back or criticism at all. There way or the highway but there way lacks true understanding of the job role ! lack of vision and to loosely goosey  ! 


Excellent company to work for, small environment with  a lot of variety in the position.  Very entrepreneurial atmosphere.The most difficult part of the position is the amount of work for one individual, my recommendation would be to have 2 on the Technical Support Team.  One person cannot manage 160 people in the field.

Great Solid company that is flexible and fair. They represent several different types of clients and have a very tight management team which makes working for these guys much better than a lot of larger companies that are just spread to thin. I continue to enjoy the job!

- must be good at self-management / motivation
- remote support (if needed) by email, text, phone
- you like to drive
