Caregiver or a private companion I usually work in home or doing home care. How to deal elderly patients, to know their physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual needs. Management is doing their all effort to give you opportunity to work but sometimes is not enough.
Co-workers not common because you work one on one with the resident.
Hardest part of the job was looking for workplace because they were putting me in different homes or workplaces.
The most enjoyable part was being a part of the resident's family.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. CEO is so un professional and rude to make a fun on his employees. His so hypocritical and by first time you think, he is such a gentleman, but u should wait for a few months to be able to see his real personality. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Overtime. Not working life balance. No training or support. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressing and overwhelmed. Disrespectful and very high demand. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start at 7:30 and God knows when you are able to get home.

A typical day at work is dependent on the different needs of the clients. There will be days where the tasks are loaded and there will also be days where the work will be light. 
Working in this company gave me a lot of experiences in dealing with different clients and their needs. It also helped me to become knowledgeable and acquainted with the health care system of Montreal. 
The management team tries their best to accommodate the needs of the client and also the needs of their employees.

Equinoxe Lifecare is a great place to work. I am fortunate to have found a role with this company. The office team is very friendly and always reachable to help me in my day-to-day.
I am grateful to be working with clients on regular shifts and they worked hard to meet my personal schedule too.
I would recommend Equinoxe to anyone looking for a peaceful and effective work environment. 

Very odd and uncomfortable environment.
The people are nice but lots of turn around the first day I got there it was the last day of several people or last week. Then several people left the job while I was there. Also most where there for a short time. 
Also very sleepy work place yet kitchen is super bright.
Just overall strange place.

I learned a lot from my span in working with equinoxe. The care coordinator are very helpful and approachable. They are the best in terms of vacation period. They are very understanding about their caregiver's concerns.

Equinoxe Lifecare has many clients in need of caregivers, to perform tasks like preparing meals, light houseworks, care providing, safety ensuring. In general most of the clients are nice people, not heavy tasks, and many clients are well educated and polite.

An agency that really cares about their staff and  clients. Hardest part -- working alone without the support of coworker.

I found it difficult to travel to clients homes with the state of Montreal traffic.

I prefer being more hands on than delegating. It was my first time in a management position. 
The hardest part of the job was the sales aspects, and dealing with billing clients/ families

same as the comfort keepers its unstable it depends if you have client or not. hours are not fixed. sometimes its a good week sometimes its not.
