I would recommend not working for this company if you value yourself or your labour. FIGR is a company that frequently lies to its employees and government agencies for its own gain. You will be infantilized and disrespected by just about every member of the management team, while they attempt to get you to perform increasingly large amounts of work. They will fire your coworkers at the end of their shifts without reason or notice so that they can cut costs. You might notice that all of your coworkers have been injured in some way from the job, which FIGR will blame on them in order to try and absolve themselves of any responsibility. 

You will not see any pay increases there regardless of how hard you work or how productive you are. They will give you more responsibilities than outlined in your employment contract, even if they are dangerous for you or you don't have the requisite training. They have a very well funded media team in order to falsify reviews about themselves and their product, but don't believe any of it for a second. FIGR will use you until they see an opportunity to cut costs or replace you with someone who's willing to work for less pay. There is no job security here and you will be intimidated by management every day that you clock in. You will be treated like a numbered drone and they will demand you work in silence except for listening to the radio if you're lucky. I cannot under any circumstances recommend this company to work at. There's a reason they're always hiring for so many positions.

The company is still in its growth phase, with a relatively young management team—this brings energy but also a learning curve.

As the organization matures, becoming more competitive in compensation and benefits will be essential to retain and attract top talent.

As the company continues to grow, it will be important to invest in nourishing and developing leadership capabilities within the frontline leadership team to build a strong foundation for sustained success.

Advice to Management:
Continue nurturing the strong people-first culture—it’s a key asset. As the company scales, prioritize investments in system modernization, structured planning, and more competitive total compensation to remain sustainable and attractive long term.

People in management positions (head growers, plant technicians) were seemingly hired without any examination of their management or people skills. It has been a disaster from the beginning, with the same issues being revisited over and over. There is no willingness to create a better working environment for the staff, or a better growing environment for the plants. 
It is seemingly a business being run with a sole focus on numbers and zero focus on product; as if they somehow believe the two are not connected. There are a couple of extremely toxic personalities and shockingly useless people in management positions that really highlight how much of a joke this place is. 
The communication is incredibly poor across and within all departments, and their treatment of people is poor. 


As someone who went through a number of transitions, and roles with the company, I can say that it's currently in a really great position. There is a clear goal, and mission for the organization, which will only get more defined, and make working there enjoyable for everyone. 

In my role, I had the opportunity to define my position, and grow in the avenues that I wanted to explore. As the team continues to grow, I think the experience for anyone wanting a challenge will be great. 

As with everything in the Cannabis industry, it is extremely fast paced, and constantly changing, which may not be the right fit for all, but it does ensure you are constantly learning and growing. 

Would recommend working at FIGR. 

My time thus far spent at FIGR has been a positive experience. My position on the line has offered me room for both personal development and for workplace insight. I feel my voice is an active force in my environment, rather than the passive drone of a mundane employee. This is due to my own station and confidence in my job as well as to the relationships I have developed with my coworkers. I do feel more of a team mindset in this workplace than I have at previous jobs, many of which were team-oriented positions. Things are, of course, not perfect; but, for a younger company operating locally at the forefront of the cannabis industry, I believe things could be much worse. And, I have indeed experienced much worse. 

No communication within company 
Management puts unnecessary stress on lower members of the workforce because of their lack of everything. 
Let’s valuable and crucial people go over corporate rules and unjust regulations 
Performance and pay do not go hand in hand. 
High performers get no praise or raise, just more stress onto them to keep up with unrealistic demands, do you realize how demoralizing it is to fill or pack 1500 more vapes or joints a shift compared to the elderly and lazy workers yet get NOTHING but stress and overtime in return. 
It has become a temp agency 
Cuts medical benefits when on medical leave. 



I think it is great that all their jobs are full - time, benefits start right away, and the on boarding is very thorough.   They offer a lot of support to staff but you want to be in good physical condition and be prepared for manual labour.  Things change a lot and there isn't good communication about what is going on overall. People quitting and getting fired all the time is hard on morale.   Almost everyone is very good to work with, but it's impossible to feel safe or relaxed in such an uncertain environment. 

Working at FIGR has given me many opportunities to progress in my career and learn more about leadership, and developing processes. FIGR is the type of place where you get out what you put in, and hard work is rewarded. The cannabis industry is still relatively new so there is a lot of learning together as we go. 

I have seen an improvement in the short time the new leadership/ownership has been with the company and I look forward to seeing what the next 10 years have in store for FIGR.

People come and go on regular bases. 
Work is very cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer . 
The environment is very toxic and it's incredibly easy to get hurt at work and it is not unusual for people to suffer from back pain in there . 
Management is talking down to employees and use intimidation to deal with them.

I regret not having a lawyer present with me when I had to deal with management. 

Not a good company to work for unless you work in management 

There is no wonder why they in debt and in separate need to sell 

I have learned so much at Figr and this company allows you to grow and experience things you never imagined ever doing with your career.  The people are great to work with and the company always has events planned for their staff to show appreciation to all their hard work.
