FIRE PRO FIRE PROTECTION

I am a current employer within the company with a tenure of 2 1/2 years and running. I have heard my fair share of negativity in every aspect towards this company. I can tell you that "every" company has its negatives and positives - there is no company in the world that can satisfy the needs entirely of an individual, and that's simply just facts. Take it for what it is everyone has their own journey and experience within a company. Like life itself, the career is technically what you make of it. If you give it a great shot and go into it with zero expectations you tend to see the positives in things. I can honestly say that the company has treated me fairly. For those whom think opposite have not given it a fair shot and stuck within the company long enough to see all the positives that can come with it. You all expect the world to be handed to you without actually working for it, so of course you are left disappointed. It doesn't matter the degree or experience you got; thus, it doesn't put you in a place where you get it all entirely just because of that. You need to earn your place and you will receive all you deserve when that time comes. The idea of people referring to this place as not a family oriented place are coming from those whom haven't even been in the company long enough to understand the true meaning of that. Some of you come for 3 months and think you already got the basis down. In any case everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but overall each and every person has their own route and journey here and just because you had a bad experience, doesn't mean it happens to everyone. Can every company be better? absolutely, but we are definitely the true definition of a growing company that continues to strive towards that goal to be truly successful. I've been here a couple years and I have seen a lot of growth already through my time here. 

After reading this, I hope each and every person gives it their 100% for a while before jumping to conclusions.

Hard working tradesman beware. Average wage. Lack of experienced leadership/management allows coordination of field staff to be unorganised, creating ineffective and heavy work loads. Witnessed this cause field staff to make simple mistakes, sometimes resulting in jobs being incomplete or numerous return trips to assess or complete simple tasks. A lot of unprofessional back door conversations between management/field staff/coordinators resulting in a toxic environment with no transparency and minimal support. Technicians are over-worked to the point of burnout as a result. Don’t let the warm faces or family vibe fool you, this is a business and you are just a cog in the money making machine. There ARE nice people here, some need to learn what is involved in doing their job correctly. Be cautious if taking a field position here.



Working at Fire Pro is always exciting. There's always something new to learn about the business. Though constant filing and phone calls are 90% of the job there are other responsibilities as well such as creating PDF format files, making Annual Inspection Approval phone calls and helping other colleagues when needed. I'd say that this job gives a lot of opportunity to move up in the company since the receptionist position touches base with almost all of the different departments here. 

The co-workers here are always up-beat, friendly, and funny. Don't get me wrong, though the work environment in the office "seems" to be laid-back, everyone gets their work done efficiently and with detail. Once you join this company, you'll actually feel that your co-workers aren't co-workers, but more like family. Which is something I definitely love about this company.

I worked at Fire-Pro for 4 years, starting as a junior technician with no prior relevant experience and leaving as an experienced and competent senior technician. There are many great teachers on the team, all of whom were eager to share their knowledge and help develop my own skillset. Management paid for my education and supported my professional growth the entire time I worked here. 

The nature of the work itself can be stressful at times, particularly if you are conscientious about doing your best. Thankfully, the leadership at Fire-Pro is very supportive and you'll never be left high and dry if you run into issues on a site. 

Overall, Fire-Pro is a great team to be a part of and if you are a driven individual looking to build yourself up as a new or experienced technician, Fire-Pro is a great place to be. The effort you put in will be matched by the effort they put into you.

I have worked at Fire-Pro for over a year now and have found it to be a terrific place to work. The owner is committed to the company’s success and continually invests in the employees and new technology to better serve our customers. Fire-Pro has a great office staff and a large tech base made up of mostly long-term, knowledgeable employees who are really dialed in to our customers and their needs. 

Fire-Pro services some of the largest Strata and commercial sites in the Lower Mainland and continues to win business based on great technicians and consistent communication from the office teams.

I started off my employment with Fire Pro Fire Protection as a journeyman service sprinkler fitter approximately 6 years ago. Since then I have been giving the opportunity to advance my career and am now a part of the management team. 

The company promotes a healthy work/life balance and cares about the health and well being of each employee. 

Other managers, administrative and field staff that I have had the opportunity to work alongside and collaborate with are absolutely amazing. These individuals take pride in there work, are constantly learning and adapting to the ever changing needs of the industry. 

Glad to be apart of such an amazing company/team.


I have been with Fire Pro for 7 years now and I have found it to be a great place to work. I started off as a technician and worked my way up to management.  Fire Pro puts a lot into creating a great work environment. Fire Pro has done a lot to promote the work environment and a support system that helps people in and out of the company.  The level of expertise in Fire Pro is number one in this industry, this is a big reason why i work at Fire pro, the people and all the support and professionalism that comes with them.   

Great company to work for . Great bunch of techs as well. If you want to learn I don’t think there is a company in the lower mainland period that will teach you more. If you want to feel good about the company you work for , a company that has built a great reputation, then you will enjoy working a Fire Pro. 
The only reason I no longer work there is because I have moved to Vancouver island. If I moved back I would absolutely be re-applying at Fire Pro.

I've worked at firepro for the past 5-1/2 years. It's by far one of the best companies I've worked for. They give back as much as you give, wages are a reflection of the effort put forth. It can be very busy, and at times chaotic but that's true of any company.

They do honestly care about their employees well being at and away from work. There have been growing pains with growth in recent years, but always moving forward and getting better in the end.

I would recommend fire-pro to anyone in the industry looking for work.

Worse place working with, no one stay long. New business owner don’t know anything. Low pay high working pressure. This company not followed labor law, they don’t care employees.
