First choice courier is a horrible place to work. They will lie to you constantly, when you ask why you’re not making anything (average check when you don’t owe the boss money is 600 if you’re lucky) you’re told it’s youre fault that you don’t work hard enough when in fact it’s actually that the office has no care for the drivers and unless you are a friend of the boss you won’t get enough calls to drive even a quarter of what they demand you blow in gas daily. The office staff is abusive and makes the drivers feel worthless by degrading them and consistently ensuring you hear how “frustrated” they are over the radio, yet the drivers are even more irritated. 
The pay is so bad you will end up in debt to make them money and you’ll be left with nothing but a mostly run down car that you don’t have a single penny to put into fixing your car, not even an oil change. First choice courier is a hobby (and not an enjoyable one) because you end up spending more than you will ever make there. You pay for a hobby, a job pays you. First choice courier falls Into the hobby category and not the job category.

You will be stuck sitting somewhere for hours a day with no work or they'll have you bouncing from one end of the city to the other with no packages in-between and you're paid per package. You'll work yourself into debt within months. They don't report to the cra that you've ever been employed with them and they don't hold your taxes either which is great cuz if they did the checks would be maybe 400 bucks. For 10 hour days and your own vehicle and gas. 

A typical day involved picking up and dropping off envelopes andparcels.I learned to get along with customers and companys.Management was organized,and helpful when finding new places.The hardest part was dealing with traffic all day.The most enjoyable was being my own boss.

What is the best part of working at the company?
If you need time off all you need is 24 hours notice.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not knowing what dispatch has in mind for you 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company doesn't treat people well

If you want to make money--this is not the place to be-yelling and arguing among office staff-employees belittled constantly- owner is the only person making money

Wouldn’t ever recommend anyone to work for those people. Absolute trash. Still used old fashion. Radios for dispatch. Also the dispatcher’s very short fused if you didn’t hear them correctly and you asked him to repeat themselves.

Great group of girls to work with in the office. Owner is very verbally abusive and a negative impact on the work environment. He should look at selling company.

Company has no respect for the drivers. 
Disorganized, you have to run like crazy all over the city from one end to another with no sense. 
Pay is poor. Sometimes long hours.

Money wasnt as good as advertised. Company was good to work for. Management was on hand at all times

learned directions and the greater toronto area
co workers nice and reasonable to work with not much interaction with one another
