FOODBANK

A typical day at the food bank meant helping people and families. I learned not everyone can just go out and grocery shop whenever they feel the need. and the co workers were great we all got along amazingly. the hardest part for me as knowing that people are struggling and reasing because at the time I didn't have glasses and the easiest part as the organization and the social part of it.

i was always diligent and had something to do.The employer was easygoing and was never in a bad mood.all workers were paid respect but never over worked. the employer was hard working making sure that the staff was in excellent condition to work.The most enjoyable part of the day was when i gave out hampers and made the costumer smile on their way out the door.

Foodbank is a charity and non-profitable organization for poor people in Nova Scotia. Most of the work in Foodbank relies on donation, charity, and volunteers. So, from long-run, Foodbank will be dependent on the government or donations. The management there was not complex. They were allocated with different jobs and they were good at doing them.

My co-workers at work were very organized and always willing to help me if I need help with a task. I learned how to interact with costumers and co-workers asking them questions about how they're doing or how their day was going. The hardest part of the job was stocking shelves that were to high for me to reach.

I think that wick wire is a beautiful establishment with a great opportunity for its occupants.  

A typical day there is quite quiet and slow but I think it's really good for people wanting a quiet job place.

The most enjoyable part of this job was seeing how the establishment worked and its staff inside perform.

I enjoyed my time volunteering at the food bank. Some tasks were repetitive, like requesting donations and bagging groceries for example, but I feel they have helped with my efficiency. Overall, I would recommend students to help out with food drives in their cities.

If you want to help out you community, going to the food bank is a great thing to do. You get to connect with people and share stories. It is a casual setting and great experience

Volunteered for a couple of hours, not bad, but I recommend you bring someone with you to keep up the mood. You'll most likely be filling out Hampers during the couple hours there.

Worked as a volunteer in summer break, and the manager was so friendly and willing to explain the process of how this whole organization works. Good volunteer experience. 

It's just a normal day at volunteering and all a sudden I hear a noise so I walk around the corner and It was my friend packing boxes and putting them up on the shelf's.
