This place is a bit of a mixed bag. It is very dependant on who your manager is, which group you're part of, which office location, etc. You could have a manager who allows you to work from home with flex hours, or you could have a manager who drives you to overwork with no worklife balance. I have been at the company for less than 5 years and have not seen anyone in my group get promoted or advance in their careers.

Management has repeatedly wasted money on projects that have gone nowhere. Everyone in management are constantly in meetings even when they have absolutely no business being there. A complete lack of vision. They have our "Core Values" proudly posted on the wall but management don't even adhere to them. It used to be a good place to work but management definitely put an end to that.

Great work experience, learned a lot about management and interacting with my coworkers.  Lots of opportunity for growth and learning from peers and supervisors.  Positive team environment and chance to handle many projects simultaneously.

This is a good company with regard to forestry science. However, the hiring process takes 6 months. The salary and promotion are not good. There is no job security. But working here for few months is ok to find a better job.

FPInnovations specializes in the Forestry sector. Cut almost 30 % of the staff in 4 years. And it still going on... Ambiance not really good because of the cuts ;(.

Very good diversity of techniques and apparatus to learn. Flexible times, good advantages and above average pay. HR are very helpful when needed. Good cohesion between groups.
