I have never been exposed to a more lost group management team than I was at FT Services Kearl site team. A broken team of management individuals going through the motions and pointing fingers taking zero accountability for the Drama and posturing as they tried to get ahead by stepping on someone else. High Turn over rate, low morale and constant gossiping and back stabbing. Even when serious issues were tabled the management solutions were either non existent or created more problems without solving the problem tabled- it was bizarre.  A soap opera without cameras. Money was great and some great people that were hanging on to their job always in fear and disenchanted with a management team that was in-genuine and constantly dropping the ball. Only thing I miss is the $$. Money couldn't ever sway me back to work for that gong show.

The company is quite willing to help individuals with advancement.  I was able to acheive and NCSO certificate because of this company.  My work is meaningful as it relates to continuous improvement in the Health and Safety field.  Weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and historical reports are all necessary in this position.  Analyzing safety data has become routine and yet so important.  The company acknowledges good work and are not afraid to say so.  I love statistics so there is really no hard part of my job.  It is a pleasure to do my best and I appreciate the feedback from my efforts.  With a 4/3 schedule, I am able to have a significant balance of work and personal care.

I recently left my position with FT Services as my work schedule was conflicting with my husbands work schedule.  

I have enjoyed my time with FT Services and I take all of the training that I have received and hope to advance in them in other career opportunities.

A typical day at work would consist of reviewing work orders and doing a walk down of jobs, setting up tools and equipment for upcoming jobs, and overseeing that jobs were done on time in a safe and efficient manner. throughout my time there I have learned about how to keep myself and my coworkers safe.

My day started with an employee toolbox talk, and then assignment of duties to crew

Working at FT Services is a wonderful place to work, I love dealing with my team mates and everyone is always willing to lend a hand. I have learned so much about different qualifications employees need as well as certifications in order to do their job.

Over my two years working here, the team mentality was unparalleled. Management were helpful and the leadership was encouraging.  The apprenticeship helped me expand my career.
