They have several different wages for the same level of experience.They don't want anyone talking about what they make hourly.
Instead of the 28 and 8 schedule.They told me when i got hired.It was changed to whatever they could get guys to work.Usually a minimum of 6 weeks away from home.
They would make us fill out a form like we were asking for vacation time 
But it was for our regular days off.
So the work life balance was non existent.
Very few qualified supervisors.

Relatively stress free environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Staying productive on days that your department is not the focus.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supportive, like to share info with everyone.

work was good, was kept busy while i was there, however the foreman wasn't very good at communicating with the crew. organization was pretty good! safety was lacking in some parts.

great company to work for 
great for younger guys getting into the trade to get field experience and grow their career, always  challenges that needs to be overcome so its always interesting thinking outside the box to fix these challenges

Job was okay. Hired on as one trade but rarely got to do it. Pay was okay. Benefits were good. Supposed to be a 3 and 1 schedule but always seemed to be pressure to stay longer. 

I have learned a lot from working with FWS. I have learned new skills and met a lot of great people to work with. The skills I have learned are skills that I can take with me to future jobs.

Worked along side some good people. Favouritsim amongst management could clearly been seen. Low pay for dangerous work. Promised tons of work and apprenticeship opportunities then mass layoffs 3 months later. 

good for people who are single. lots of travel required. good living allowance. good wages and benefits, great for people who like to travel and experience other places in canada

Good place to work. Do your job, mind your business and go home.
Fellow collegues are supportive. Sometime feeling of urgency but the you will get over it with time.

Fast paced work site with lots of opportunity to grow carpentry, welding, millwright and operator skills. Steady work for the duration of the project.
