Fair Havens Ministries

A live-in summer camp for families to come and enjoy being together. Work environment is very self regulated and motivated. A loving and welcoming work environment with a hard push at giving your best to every guest. Days can be long but are well worth it; "paid back in double" with the community built with peers.

Depending on your position it's different. Working in the youth ministry, you meet for a daily morning meeting, then will go and set up your skill and then you would teach the kids, and clean up when skills were over.

Amazing place, created life long friendships. Was fun to work with most people at camp, management was loving and looked out for employees. Most stepping stones had issues with com-life but otherwise everything was fine.

A great place to work if you are on board with the mission and vision. Full time ministry or service may not be for everyone, but it's a great environment for people who like to work hard and have fun.

The work was fun the people were great, a lovely Christian community. The bosses their are kind and fair and truly do care about all of their staff. An amazing place, would recommend to everyone.

Fair Havens gives such a broad variety of work options, giving students the opportunity to develop new skills and learn more about themselves. Fair Havens is a loving, community environment.

i had an interesting time working for Fair Havens. They bullied me into agreeing with their practices and their customer service techniques. I feared for my job whilst working with them.

The Stepping Stones program provided me with many skills in public speaking, leadership and organization. It has helped me and grown me so much as a person.

Taking place at a camp, the daily structure would begin with program activities time (leading activities with Campers). The day would continue on with many more activities like such

Summer was busy with lots of guests coming and going. This requires lots of organization from all staff. I worked in housekeeping and had lots of beds to make and rooms to clean.
