I learned to be organized ,manage my time ,be  responsible,solve problems,work with others as a one team.we complete each other to give a best result in our location .

Management is good . my co-workers are very funny and simple people.

The hardest part of the job is when we have an urgent order should be submitted in a short time ,we be under a  pressure to finish the order as soon as possible with high speed of machines and high degree of temperature.
or when we have a big orders with out enough employee , in this case we have to work for long hours and we should cover our spot plus the spots of the missing employee.

Honestly the most enjoyable part in this type of  job when we face some problems in the machines,in this case the line should be stop for a while ,during that we will get some time to breath and arrange the stuff around us like arrange the boxes,remove the damage bags, cleaning the floor and so on.

I have been working for Fancy Pokket for 4 1/2 years, and I enjoy it.  I have changed positions within the company three times since I began to work there, so there are definitely opportunities for advancement.

We are not a huge staff but a lot of our employees have been with us long term - we're basically like a large family.  People are friendly - we work hard but we also share a laugh or two on occasion. 

Management has great care and concern for their employees and their welfare. I've seen this exhibited time and again, and it's always good to know that someone has your back when things get tough.

At first, was told I would only have to work 5 days a week from 8am-5pm and by the end of the first month, I was working from 8am-7pm 6 days a week. At 4:30 pm the supervisors/management would come let us know we had to work till 6pm which would turn into 7pm. There would always end up being myself and a coworker working a 4-5 person job as everyone else would leave for the 10 minute breaks and would end up being gone for 20 minutes. The hours are long with little to no breaks. 2 paid 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute non-paid lunch. The overtime is minimum wage and only kicks in after you have 44 hours worked in the week. Overall good job if you're looking to make some quick cash over the summer. 

The first couple of months here were okay other than the heat but now after being here for over a year it's aweful. They expect people to work 60-70 hours a week and threaten to fire if you say it's too much. You're supposed to get 2 days off a week but most of the time they call you in anyway and make you work. Even if it's your scheduled day off if they call you in and you can't work they'll write you up. You will often find bugs/ dirt on the line and in the food and if you mention it to someone they just tell you to wipe it off and pack it. This is an understaffed, over worked, unhygenic mess of a food plant and unless you are desperate I would not recommend it.

A typical day starts with inspection of the plant, tool box talk meetings, monitoring of the plant,  2 coffee breaks and lunch, doing paper work, then working on improvement projects.

I learned how to handle Quality in food safety manufacturing after working in Quality in construction for a decade.

Management is professional and friendly and accommodating.

Work place culture is relaxed friendly and inclusive.

the hardest part of the job is supervision of people.

the most enjoyable part is feeing you have a positive impact.

Working on the bagel, tortilla or pita lines is hot. During summer it can reach 40 to 50 degrees celsius. Many weeks will be six days with one rest day. Maintenance will always have work to do because equipment failure is a constant. Sanitation will always have a lot of work. Boxing department is usually under staffed. Shipping/receiving will be overworked. Management could be better.

Overall, be ready for mandatory overtime; paid at minimum wage. Very little work/life balance and heat.

As a line operator my day starts by starting up the oven, setting up the line, bags, equipment. When workers arrives they pretty much know what needs to be done, I just make sure every position is filled and they know what product is being produced for the day.
By working with people from all over the world, I learned so much about different cultures and way of life
Management doors are always open, CEO, PR will always listen to any concerns you may have.
At the end of the year, I make good money, I have god insurance and I am respected by all


I learned to deal with many people from other cultures and I think this adds a lot to our lives not only professionally but also personally, and the importance of getting to know other cultures. I learned that on normal working days we must always have focus and resilience to deal with various situations during the day because we work with machines and at any time several different schedules can occur than we planned and this is the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job is that I really like the Owners and the people I work with.

As an employer, Fancy Pokket is wonderful.  If you work hard and follow instructions, the Management will work with your scheduling needs and provide feedback.  Raises are made available depending on work performance.  

Be prepared for some long days and weekends when required.  

Since day one of working the team has been nothing but supportive of one another. I have witness the company, management & employees that would give the shirt off their back to help not only the staff but their customers. 

A typical day at Fancy Pokket is never the same, new things pop up that become priority over the last. It is fast pace environment and you need to remain adaptable.

Communication between the team could be worked on as things fall through the cracks sometimes.
