Management only favours certain people certain employees can no call no show almost daily and there is no consequence  and that's just scratching the surface there is far more infractions and nothing happens to them either why because they can do things that others can't so they are protected what's worse  is those employees get promotions. This is a very clikcky work environment . Wear a mask there is no ventalation .The turnover is quite high always new people in and out.  They rule by a iron fist .   As for pay you don't get your cheque until 4:00 on a Fri why because they think you will get paid and go home if they give it to you earlier oh can't forget the fact that it's not a direct deposit it's back in the 90s it's a cheque.    Benefits very little and you need to pay all up front and get back 80 percent of the money.   Generally if you make mistake in here they won't forget.

 Over-worked, underappreciated, everyone is out for themselves. I applied for a jr. Welding position, it said in the ad they would teach and all that. They put me in the electrical department, then the frame modification and assembly line and then made me babysit one of the other labourers in the paint department, who didn't know what they were doing and had to scrape off the weld splatter and got yelled at if one tiny spatter dot was there in an unreachable spot. No real training or instruction. Do not work here unless you hate your life. Also if you want to have 15 mins taken off because you made it there 5 before the buzzer because of the weather. But if you show up early you don't get the extra 15 on your paycheque

start time was good 8 am start up, it was very demanding always needed more then the job quota.
I learned a lot about metal working and splicing.
management was all right.
co workers kept to them selves not a social work environment on breaks or on the job.
hard part of the job was trying to meet unreasonable quotas.
most enjoyable part of the job was just being able to weld and work with metal.

Loved my time working at Fanotech. People think it’s dirty in the shop but I’ve worked in engineering for over 20 years and every shop is like that. Thought it was good pay, great people in the office, and great hours. Interviewing process was not a problem at all, and workload was not over-the-top.

I didn't thing they treat people in way that makes them want to go back. However it's a good starter job and or to get bye if needed. There is good a bad at every shop. They go through about 50 guys a year tho so that says alot but that's just my opinion.

It isn't that it is a bad work environment it just wasn't meant for me I like being social and I had no interaction here. I didn't feel like I fit onto the environment here and it was too much with no training they just put you right in there and give pointers from time to time.

A great place to work if youre just starting out into Full-time work. Great people to work with and work for. Management is very understanding that family comes first and are always willing to work with you on any sort of issues you have going on in your life.

It is a ok place to work as long as you put your head down and just work.the company like most places have their favorite employees and they can do what they want but for the rest it's by the book and that book is wrote by the bosses daughter

steady and easy to get used to labour. plenty of room for skill growth and learning. and the odd little surprise lunch or gift

I loved my co-op placement and two summers working with the amazing team at Fanotech. there is a great workplace culture between everyone.  The most enjoyable part of the job is having fun while being safe.
