The people and the environment is what makes it all worth going in every day.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Hanging the chickens is easily the hardest part of the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's excellent! Never been at such a positive work environment.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Some days are good, others could be better.

Very family oriented, competitive wages and great benefits. Aswell as rewards for production efficiency. Also there is an app they give you an ID for after probation period which gives you access to discounts on all sorts of products.

Backstabbing and gossip at it finest a complete biased company it's not who you know it's who you complain to and that's all people do all day 
They give you a job to do and it goes against your contract and employee contracts have no signature spot to show you understand 
If you are in the bad books don't even blink to long they will pick on you and everything you do is wrong you get fired for anything 

The culture there is terrible since they hired the newest in their management team, the plant manager. The previous family oriented atmosphere is gone and now replaced with the new everything is about money and families don’t matter attitude 

For starters, you’ll never know when you're done work. It could be noon, or it could be 8pm. Never tell upper management about personal problems at home because it’ll spread across the factory floor like wild fire. This place is a burden on your mental health and favouritism is sickening and disgusting. Overall, I wouldn’t make my own worst enemy spend a day in here. 

If you like earning not a whole lot and working in freezing conditions with little to no training, "they just kind of hand you a knife and expect you to learn from others who are often to busy to properly show you anything"  training and Non-Friendly Competitive co workers this is for you. I quit within the first month. Also Unpredictable shift changes almost every day! :)

Challenging for the feet and lower back, hands and wrists for some jobs. Very cold in the winter. I was treated great, people are friendly and caring for the most part. Management seems very involved and caring with their employees. 

very unorganized. chickens wouldn't be cold enough and would have to be held in cooling for an extra 30-40 minutes causing the entire day to change. coworkers had their own "clique" and shunned new employees. Hardest part of the job was being in a cold environment, the most enjoyable part was being on hang because it kept you moving and warm.

Management is continuously refining the work environment.   Setting the expectations higher.  Favoritism is an issue, too much he said she said.  Supervisors need to supervise and stop making exceptions to the very rules in the employee handbook

I worked there and was let go for a false complaint that wasn't properly investigated.  There was major favoritism and not everyone was treated equally.  Terrible management and hostile environment. Some of the workers are nice, but have to constantly watch what you say and can't trust certain people.  Apply only if you want to be under constant stress.
