There was always learning opportunities.  My supervisor made sure that if we had any issues, questions or needs...that he was available.  Most of the coworkers were pleasant.  The site superintendent had anger issues, however, he was quite difficult and abusive with communications.  Thankfully, I personally had minimal contact with him, I believe it would have made working there very difficult.

Working with a purpose. Learning training being respected and included

Good safe and we are given the opportunity to be a part of the company

Get up at 4:30 home at 6:30
Good productive day in a clean and safe environment

Beware. This company has a high turn over rate because of poor management and they type of individuals they hire just to get the job done. They will also turn against you if you report an injury to worksafe. This company will persuade you not to report a claim. They will turn against you if you proceed and lie by using their private healthcare providers to have your claim denied at worksafe. 

The company has gone down considerably these days due to a lack of investment in the right type of worker and good tools.There is way too many apprentice and not enough qualified carpenters. As a result it can become very frustrating to work in that type of environment.

Pay is not that great, Employer expects big things but pay very little.

Sure some of the guys are cool.  Union company.  Worst management ive ever seen.  Worst safety ive ever seen.  Do not recommend.  Work your 8 hours and go home.  Try not to die.

Great pay, great work, amazing room for advancement. At Farmer you will be expected to work hard in commercial construction and work well with others.

if you like construction, using equipment and like to tinker with things then this is a good job. you have the chance to learn and get certifications usable in the construction field,

Not bad, not great. Union job. Had an owner change recently. Might be different now. Like most construction,  supers get bonuses for cutting costs and exceeding deadlines. Keep track of your hours.
