A typical day at work is also depending on which station one is at for their shift. Whether one is on the cashier/dinning room station, the assembly line or the grill area. Typically, I go wherever am I needed for the time being, but can work all areas expect the grill station. The staff and management are all on friendly terms and we work as a team to serve guests, whether new or regular customers. I've learned  a large amount of customer-service skills, proper cleaning for commercial standards, front-of-house and back-of-house maintenance and cleaning, and counting tills and nightly reports for the head office. Management is always fair to employees and understanding of person situation, but firm when necessary. All of my co-workers are hard working and we all function together as a team to be efficient and provide quality service. The hardest part of the job is occasionally having a dinner or lunch rush and being under staffed at the time, or occasional equipment malfunctions or break-downs. The most enjoyable part is working everyday know that I am knowledgeable of nearly every aspect of the jobs, and can perform duties efficiently and with quality, working with professional, friendly people and serving my regular customers.

A typical day at work while it is not busy is cleaning and taking care of all the daily "chores" or tasks are required, For example: cleaning the washrooms, sweeping/mopping, changing garbages, washing windows, tables, etc.. I also am in charge of taking people orders, delivering food and making drinks and am responsible to keep that area maintained as well. Managment there is decent, but not always professional when it comes to personal and work life. I prefer to keep my social and personal life seperate from work, but managers and co-workers question and pry into others personal lives. What I had learned from working there for about a year and half is that customer satisfaction is our numer one priority and keeping their needs met. Happy customer=happy job. I'd say this is partially one of the hardest parts of this job as well. Sometimes the customer just can't get what they want and compromising and explaining to them why we cant meet their need is tough to make sure the "customer is always right." Most enjoyable part of this job was the flexability of hours and mutual respect upon co-workers, however there are some mishaps, but it is really easy to get along with everyone working there.

Its the best semi fine dining burger restaurant,I cant call it fast food,We do our burgers per order,so it takes time.It starts from the grill station to assembly station.For sure, we might have the biggest burger,weighs 24 Oz. I've been tried so many restaurant who sells burgers,and I never tried burger bigger than our "Triple King Burger".If it's still not enough,we can make more than 24 Oz. It's really a good experience and learning because I've never try working on a restaurant who specialize making burgers before. Everything is good, from management to co-workers.The part I like of working is the thing you learned constantly on the company and the people you work with.It doesn't matter what kind of company or people your working with,and it's normal that sometimes we encounter problems,that what make us more flexible,just don't take too personal.All I can say,it"s good to work.

A front cashier has 5 main jobs. Recieving new orders, delivering orders, making milkshakes, cleaning the resturant and restocking supplies. During weekdays, it is not busy until peak hours around lunch or dinnertime (12-2pm, and 5-7pm) and it can be more active on Friday to Sunday between 2-8pm. The teamwork is very collaborating with responsiblitiy shared and communication active within the team, everyone working to support and uplift each other. The owner and manager are absolutely excellent and willing to support you with whatever you need. They hire students from TRU with previous resturant/ fast food experience, which is very helpful since the University is 10 minute walk away.

it was fun working in my company, you are not just working but having fun too with your colleague. I learned how to value camaraderie among co-workers , unity and teamwork is there too. Management let you grow with your own initiative and guide you in your daily routine. the hardest part of the job is when the company ask you for a sale and its not peak season. But the most enjoyable part is when you get a compliment from the guest especially when they<re happy with your service and you treat them very well. It gives you more confidence and happiness in doing your job well because you know that there's a lot of people who appreciates your effort in making them satisfied.

For me, a typical day at a work is when the customers and my managers are happy by the services I provide. In my previous jobs, I learned to multi-task and I enhanced my customer service skills as well. In my past jobs, I never encountered any situation where my managers or co-workers are unhappy with me nor I had any sort of misunderstanding or any kind of fights. The most enjoyable part of my past job was after providing the service to the customer, the smile, and the positive feedback they give almost everytime. That feeling just makes my day and I just forget all my tiredness after seeing the satisfaction smile on the faces of our customers.

Having worked at this establishment for almost a year now, I've come to love the place. While the franchise's owner had recently changed, the quality of the food and service remain amazing. I've learned how hard working in a restaraunt can be and how it can also be very hard on you both mentally and physically. While the hours can be fairly difficult at time, the fact that going to work is akin to going to my second home, to my second family, makes it worthwhile. The staff and most of the customers are all very friendly.

* Co- worker called and sick on weekend and had long hours to cover less manpower. Exhausted.

* Every day(6 days per week) assigned for closing shift for almost 2 years.Cleaning 2 big and hot grills were not that easy.Had to work split shift.

Working at Fatburger was one of the best place,best area management,best staff and customers I have ever being around.working at Fatburger I have learnt alot,improve so much,met so many wonderful people, people who know your worth,people know what you are capable of doing,people who doesn't looked down on you.people who encouraged you to achieve your goals in life.

it was my first job  working in the fast food industry after i worked as a Nanny so i felt to excited and so happy when they phone me for interview Im  so nervous but when the owner interviewed me i was impressed because she was so nice and polite i didnt feel any pressure i feel like im  just talking to my friend. Im so thankful she gave me chance to work with her because i learned lots and improve myself. theyre awesome! i met new friends i developed my self confidence.
