I’ve worked for Faur for quite long and my experiences there weren’t  the best. First, the employee assistance there is terrible, they take too long for replying a simple email (if you ever get a reply, because sometimes they just ignore it) or if you decide to call them, they’ll ignore you too. Some venues have supervisors that will treat you badly, most of the time servers have to do things hey aren’t supposed to do, e.g. clean restrooms, nonetheless we still get payed a minimum wage. Payments there are very bureaucratic to be made, they won’t simply deposit to your account the hours you’ve worked. In a nutshell Faur doesn’t care about their employees, so before applying to work there, be aware of all these things and know that there are better companies out there that pay a decent salary and the most important thing of all, they threat you like a human being.

I was hired a long time ago, over 1.5 years now to work at Faur Event Staffing. Overall I love it, the managers are really helpful and nice and the locations are really nice too. Only real big issue tho is a lot of the times the busses don't run at some of the farther away locations late at night but Maya always helps arrange something for us when we get stuck so it works out in the end. Also since it's flexible work you can't always count on shifts and there's no benifits apart from the pay rate which is fair. But they have a lot of shifts usually for most of the time and they give raises based on how long you have worked and picking shifts is so easy and clear with the app they use. Beware if you actually care about Covid this company doesn’t! Not everyone on staff is vaccinated, I know a couple of people who don’t even have their first vaccine yet. When new regulations were made they never emailed us or asked us to be vaccinated at all! The only time you’ll have a vaccinated person is if the event host asks for ppl who are fully vaccinated otherwise good luck! Also like everyone else mentioned expect your paycheck to be AT LEAST a month late, unless you go pick it up yourself in which case they never tell you when the office is open or close lol. Good pay but very few events and very unprofessional 

I applied and was hired by Faur but explained this was a part time job for evenings and weekends because I work and go to school during the day. They said this would be no problem because the scheduling is flexible. After being asked to attend a 1-hour orientation during the day several times, I explained I was unable to attend an orientation in the middle of the day because of my busy schedule. They continued to schedule the 1 hour orientation in the middle of the day and after several follow ups I never got a response.

Your experience with this company is pretty much a gamble. Every shift is almost always different. It can be a horrible shift or terrible it really depends on what event you're getting called for and where. My co workers are cool but I rarely see the ones I like because every shift is just so different that it can't fit everyone's schedules or they simply don't want to travel to the location. The job itself is alright you just serve food and drinks and it gets pretty hectic after a while. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.

Like everyone else mentioned expect your cheque to be a month late if you're lucky! i have a friend who still hasn't gotten paid since October LOL! Also they removed me from the company schedule on the app without any warning or explanation so I guess I got fired?? lol very unprofessional, some parties are easier than other but they rly need to update to direct chequing and also adding the location and time to the event before the day of like they usually do.

This is more like an on call job. The hours are not steady. There are too many employees and not enough shifts - it's like a rat race having to try and get a shift (you have to be glued to your phone). 
When management makes a mistake with your schedule - telling you that you have a job, but showing up and being told that there is no job. You are given no compensation for that. 

Don't work here, save your time and money. You are constantly underpaid, management treats you badly. There is a point system, but it doesn't work, some people who have worked here for 2 years still earn 16/hour, which is crazy. Also, they don't have supervisors, the only supervisor is the venue supervisor. So if you are working at a private event - don't expect there would be a person there to help you.

This place is so far the worst one I had a chance to work at.

i am an event enthusiast and hope to work as an event planner one day so working with Faur has been such a great experience 

I learn a lot and get to see different places and different types of events. the team is also really great, i can always call and they answer all my questions and i also go into the office to pick up pay and they are always so warm and welcoming and they have some chocolates to snack on :)
