Stuff I saw in this place includes, r-acism, harassment, and unsafe practices. I was personally assaulted by a person and than HR expected me to apologize for the assault, which I am glad I did not.

I then saw another person who the supervisor and his safety lead wanted to hire as a full timer (they later did and then he was fired by HR), call out someone from another country telling him to go back to his country because canada "isn't his country" simply because this guy who was from the phillipines (a good worker btw), asked for his help. And this r-acist is a guy who the supervisor and this saftey lead wanted to make full time.

I tolerated alot of nonsense from the safety lead, he was always trying to take shots at me and being passive agressive. 

I think it had to do with when I started there, someone (I suspect it was him) told the supervisor I was going through stop signs without stopping, which of course I wasn't. This lead to a (hidden) fight if you will. I suspect the supervisor went back to whoever said this about me (I suspect it was the safety lead), and asked, and he stuck with his story. For some reason he wanted to lie about me, someone who he didn't even know. I wasn't really upset because I did not plan on staying there permanently, and looking back on it, I would not want to. But I do not like being lied about, and someone giving me a reputation I did not deserve. 

Was I a perfect employee there, no, but no one is. I tried my best, was on time, treated people with respect, and was open to almost any correction because what matters is safety and getting a good days work. I also did lots of overtime for them as well. In the end, obviously the ones that make the real decisions in there were not fans of me, but should i take this personally? If they are going to hire a r-acist? Turn a blind eye to someone assaulting me and expecting me to apologize? How honest and good are they at evaluating people really? 

Before this I worked at ferrero and I saw this warehouse start from the very beginning. I saw this place when it was an empty field and if this place hasn't changed since I worked there, it has a very long way to go before I can consider it a professional or respectable place to work. 

Oh, and while I was there, for about six months as a contract, I herd of one full timer on day shift ur-inating in the drink of another employee, and the management and HR couldnt figure out how  to catch this person. Seriously it wouldn't really be that hard guys to find out who did that. And if you are hiring people like that, which is no doubt a safety issue, then your hiring practices are, how do I say this, wrong.

Stuff I saw in this place I have never seen anywhere else, and I was only there for six months. Unless you got personal friends there who will watch your back and roll out the red carpet, stay away and beware. You can make lots of money here but you will have no life, and you wont be on day shift to start. Overall, stay away!

You will get 2 days of health and safety training, all exams are open book and corrected to 100%; everyone passes.

On the job training consists of you getting partnered with some other worker. Chances are the person you are partnered with has been there a couple weeks and isn't familiar with the legacy computer programs. Training is a patchwork and there is no standard operating procedures. 

There is an employee handbook to outline basics, but even then some of the SOPs are overlooked for the sake of efficiency/productivity. 

The job is very repetitive, monotonous and unsatisfactory. 

This job, at most, will teach you to drive a forklift and if you appease the supervisors they may train you on a Raymond reach truck. After about 3 months you will learn everything you can and from there expect the same tasks over and over. 

-Offloading the shipping containers will make your back hurt.
-Wrapping pallets will make your head spin
-Order picking will drive you crazy with a voice in your head
-Shipping will make you deaf and make your back hurt

Its a depressing job. 

You work in a square shipping container offloading square boxes onto square pallets which you load into square racking in a square building. 

Its unrewarding work, if you're lucky the job won't be outsourced to robots during your time there.

Everyday is different, but not in the best way. You start off in a department but might get sent somewhere else to help out with productivity even thought you don't have training there. Low employee retention rate because people come for the pay, but leave because of the workload, bad organization and/or interactions with management that are always hit or miss.  The 'higher level Staff' thinks they're above any regular warehouse clerk. You have a dedicated supervisor, but Warnings, suspensions, snide remarks or borderline intimidation can be carried out by any supervisor depending on their mood that day with the occasional excuse of looking out for your safety or making sure you're productive. New hires beware, they will pressure you to keep up with production as early as possible. If you can be punctual, be ready to take on many roles (whether you choose to or not) and keep your name in the good graces of management and the warehouse higher-ups; you'll get as far as you want or as far as they'll let you.

Every day is a new problem we might not have enough machines or conveyor belt might be super slow one day most supervisors act like they don't want the job at all or they don't want to be there the most enjoyable part of the day is leaving and the hardest part is dealing with the rude people all day cause there are more rude people then kind I've learned lots from fedex supply chain but nothing I can actually take to another job because when you leave they take everything you've worked on and don't give you a reference 

Excellent teamwork during receiving the products in the trailer from the manufacturer and send the skids/pallets into the designated areas. This is the hard part of this job with lots of physical lifting. We also have certified of material handling equipment; like Pacer, dockstocker, forklifts, double walker and walker. Some products are least 120 lbs, we use dockstocker with clamp to have it moved out from the trailer and put away in a designated areas and prepare for the high peak for the season. (summer/winter seasons)
Sometimes we were sent to the order picker during high peak to have it to be done by the end of the day.

Yes you got paid well for the job because it’s very easy. Does the management appreciate your hard work? Absolutely not. 
They set daily goals based off of the fastest person in the warehouse and expect everyone to be as fast as them and then discipline you if you don’t reach those goals. I was let go out of the blue after working there for almost a year simply because they weren’t busy and I was the most recent hire (no I was not on contract). Honestly it was a blessing, this place is extremely toxic. My advice if you take the job; mind your business, do your job and go home. Also if you think you are secured here after you pass your 3 months.. you’re not. No job is secure these days. 

Upon arrival to work I was confident in the days tasks, and if I was unsure I felt confident in asking management/Supervisor and/or co-workers, learning new systems in the Receiving department,  enjoyed working with the management and co-workers and felt comfortable to express my thoughts at different levels, the only downside of working at FEDEX is the tranit availability, in which case is an unfortunate situation and could not be helped, I enjoyed my full shift, on the floor and my break time.

I was excited at frist but things Quickly go down hill . Co-workers bully you , talk down to you , and are very condescending. Management can’t be bothered with anything and don’t care unless you do something they don’t like because then the managers with act like children and treat you like dirt . Don’t ever miss A day of work because  you will revive multiple write ups at once with no notice or verbal warnings. The pay is horrible and everyone has to make the same pay no matter how much more energy you put in then anyone. If you can get over the bad pay you then have to wait to get paid and that can up to a month sometimes . Only thing that is decent is the hours 

I’ve worked here for about 7 months, the people and supervisors are extremely kind and understanding HOWEVER ; if you’re a girl you will not receive the same treatment as the men. I had to fight for any license I needed/wanted and some were still not granted after receiving a higher tier position. The trainers are extremely jealous and degrading of other employees for no reason. It is also long hours that after a while will take a toll on your body and your family/work life. The pay is decent and opportunity to do overtime which will make it higher, but the headaches of the “DT” are something else. 

either you are sitting there with no work but have to try and look busy or you're none stop moving and barely have time to take breaks. management sucks and  the pay is not worth what it does to your body. little to no training just basically throw you in with someone and says do what they do and most of the time people dont last 2 weeks and they are hiring new people. getting time off is horrible cause they favorite supervisors and teammates that have been there longer so no time off around holidays, and you have to work every stat day but dont get time and a half for remembrance day
