What is the best part of working at the company?
Although challenging at times, the federal government has given me incredible insight into my own personal & professional goals and strategies when developing intercultural relationships. I encourage others to join and serve not only our country, but the entire world as well. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Perfecting patience may be needed as government programs, especially newly developed ones, take time to perfect just like our patience, personal bias’s and strengths/weaknesses.

The work environment prides itself on creating a more diverse & inclusive space for all employees.

You don’t feel like a number. You’re treated equally and fairly.

They want you to succeed. They will do what is required for you to obtain your goals.

It is hybrid and also on an individual basis, tele-networking.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It is busy. Your day will zoom by with responding to emails and completing your workload.

Canadians perception that government employees don’t work.

Respectful and fair. Most people strive to do good work and be team players.

The high security offenders and the toxic work environment 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very toxic and only getting worse

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, dealing with medical emergencies for offenders

The Canadian Armed Forces don't provide like they used to, you're paid garbage for the amount of time and work you're putting in, the burnout is very real. They don't provide housing anymore and what they do manage to scrounge up is falling apart, they make every single thing you do like moving as difficult as possible, even though they are the reason you're moving. The Army just isn't worth what it once was.

My review is based on working for 10 days with the Federal elections. The operation was well organized and we all knew our positions and what we needed to do for the day to run smoothly. We were a great team and everyone helped in other areas apart from the hired position.

I had interesting job , great benefits

I am now retired . Stress was only at year end , since I worked in finance department

Depends of the sector you work for . Very inclusive

7 to 3:: pm , accounts payables

The Canadian government offer a very good workplace environment. Nice buildings with floors separated by dividers for employees. Management have closed offices. 
The working conditions are great and management do support work-life balance.
I've learned to work in both languages

It's vey well organized. Fun, fast and very exciting. You go for training, so it's straight forward. If you don't know something, there is a supervisor at every station to help you out.
