The company has a global footprint, great product lines, and hard working employees the only problem is that company is downsizing. Our brunch had great work environment and people, everyone was helpful to each other and had a good mood in general. People did not behave selfishly or in other negative/counterproductive ways. It was easy to get information or help you needed from other workers. Employees had the ability to make decisions and work independently. Work balance was a little lopsided at times: some days are very busy, some days are not so busy.
Unfortunately, the company is going through tough times with the industry downturn. There has been many cost cutting actions put in place with cutting of employees being the largest. All departments have been cut to the point where it is tough to do anything correct in reference to customer shipping, billing etc.
I wish management would try harder to fight the challenges of running a truly global company, while making sure every employee feels like a valuable part of the corporation.

A typical day at work was arriving there and not knowing if I would be doing my job or driving the forklift. Once a week they would have a safety meeting at the beginning of the shift. They would ask about any safety concerns and encourage us to report any safety hazzards we might notice. I will admit there was some co-workers I didn't get along with but if I had to work side by side with them I wouild put those feeling aside and get the job done to the best of my ability. The job I was assigned to was rewarding to me because there was a lot of physical work involved. The most enjoyable part of the job was making friends with most of my co-workers without them it would have been very boring.

Initial position was as a sales representative in Ontario. Promoted less than 2 years to sales management, where increased staffing and sales were maintained yearly. Given the opportunity to create a training centre to educate staff as well as customers.

Load Rods , change drills , check parts, clean machine . keep work area clean . Record measurements of parts .  Team environment , keeping parts and machines up to specs and running good parts.

Management is cost conscious. Doesnt spend much on employees. But if you want an average workplace to learn, you have more learning opportunity, but you should learn on your own

As a maintenance crew a lot of cleaning involved. A lot of use of chemicals to get rid of machine dust. Good summer job for teenagers looking to make some extra money.

This company does not care about its employees. I had a horrible manager who did things his way. The skilled trades were excellent however. Human resources was non existent

It was a good place too work. The years I put in the company speaks for its self. Good pay, good benefits and company party’s during the holidays where fun.

Good company and wish they were still around. It sucks they were sold but good people all around. Love the products and the people. Learned a lot about the aftermarket

I worked on boilers and refrigeration plant, I had training of Safety..I had learned time management..Its Multi national Company
