My day starts with  my  e-mails usually approx.  receives  60 to start.
Contact carriers / 3PL company
Arrange pickup and  delivery appt.
Check in with our  US locations
Download reports  to see what  was shipped from china
Determined what  shipments i need customs clearance on and if i have  docs in place. 

prepare internal report and  distribute to  buyers / supplychain / operation.

create report for the financial dept. as to  inventory  in transit and value.
reading and responding to e-mails in between.
daily interaction with supplychain.

I really enjoyed my day when  my deliveres / pickup  are  on time and when i call call my customer and say you will received your ship on the schedule  date  as promised. 

the hardest part of my job is waiting  for  info. that creates  delays in me getting  back to my customers goods  news on  updates they are desperately  seeking.   I get such pleasure when I can pickup the phone call my customer and said  its all worked out, the driver will be there by this time and  you will  have plenty of time to  re-ship to your customer  without any delays.

A challenge place, with lots of SKU's  in the same time on production lines 
The main thing learned was lean manufacturing principles and error-proofing at manufacturing level
 A professional management with lots of knowledge regarding the quality system 
Multi-lingual plant operators, all together became o big family with the same focus to create quality products for our customers
Managing customer relationships to gain customer trust could be one of the hardest task
Brainstorm in finding root cause and alternative solutions of issues received from customers


Has an infinite room for improvement. No longer a place of cooperation business sold to a US company. Product quality deteriorated, loss of local stock , resulted in loss of customer base. I believe now this was all by design to sell which company did. The hardest part of the job near the end was obtaining stock to maintain customers.Most enjoyable part of the job was introducing new products and seeing orders come through.

A typical work day, supervising AR staff, dealing with customers, bank deposit, reconciling customers account, collection, motivating A/R clerks, opening new account, credit references, weekly borrowing base for bank.Also supervising credit department, order desk, mail room and reception. (supervised 18 employees) Hardest part of the job was, closing our finance department in Toronto and move it to Torrance, California.

The job was having a big variety of assignments, tasks, challenges within different locations.
The main part of the job was finding out the status of the new projects(s) we’re working on, fighting daily fires from production, quality / operations / product planning / warranty meetings, reviewing different testing results, working with other departments (marketing, cataloguing, purchasing, sales) to solve customer related problems.


I enjoyed working for this company and had the opportunity to develop great working experience in the area of supply chain.   My coworkers were very supportive and motivated as well as the management. The atmosphere was very positive and encouraging.

Fenwick Automotive Products Ltd. has closed its operation and went bankrupt.  All I can say about this company is it was a successful company and employed over 800 employees both office and warehouse personnel.

My first job in Canada.  I found easy to be employed.  Great company, generous pay, encourages job competition, open to job advancement.  Offering former employees to go back.

people work here come from different countries over all the world and everybody work together as a good team. no matter what kind of work you are doing , employee always help each other.

Company shut down in 2013 - It was a decent company when it existed but didn't have the right business mix, dealt with growth pains that ultimately hurt
