Ferguson Neudorf Glass

Don't expect to advance or make a career out of this place, you will work repetitive production with little/no training and just sort of pick up the job as you go along. Two 15 min breaks with a 30 min lunch, day is 7-430 with overtime options. Sometimes its very slow with not much to do, sometimes its very busy. Often the work seems sort of random and unplanned in its process. Coworkers can be anywhere from extremely nice and friendly to backstabbing, condescending and rude. Only basic tools are provided so prepare to bring some of your own tools which will from time to time get stolen or go missing. 

Floor management is surprisingly friendly and helpful considering the general chaotic nature of the place, the turnover rate seems very high. Lots of drama and talking behind peoples backs,  a very passive aggressive environment. In all its a mediocre place, dont expect more than just your average labour job. 

Horrible place to work. They don’t follow ministry standards. They expect you to be nothing but there sl@ves. 
They expect overtime and if you don’t they punish you by giving you horrible jobs and moving you around driving you like a sl@ve. They don’t reward hard work they continue to push you to do more with no reward or gratitude and if you don’t do more they punish you by making your day to day more difficult. 
Management is a joke. Management and owners are modern day sl@ve drivers. 
If I could give this place 0/5 stars I would. 
I truly hope this company goes out of business solely for there horrible business practices. 

I take pride in my work. Some might find it frustrating, when work does not show up on time, or ever.

I miss my co-workers, they made the factory very lively and the workday smooth. I learned that it is not how well you work with others,  or even if you do exceptionally well at what you do, but you have to be accountable for everything in a workplace. If you see it unfolding, whether it be a situation, or ergonomic, you as a co-worker need to speak up.

Excellent managers and the shop floor is full of people you can consider to be a family outside of home. The work is descent and quick paced. The owners are phenomenal to work for. You're not a number to them. They know you by name and will take time out of their day just to see how you're doing. 
The most enjoyable part of the job, is that you know you're part of a very cohesive team and everyone is able to assist if able.
There is no hard part of this job if you know your role well.

They call you a day or two before they made a new policy and they stop your contract.
So no time to find alternative job.

But job captains and my supervisor were totally good persons and I learned too much from them. They helped me so much. Overall Richmondhill branch is good place to work, people are very nice, you learn too much there.

all around, this job is one I would never recommend to anyone. I was treated poorly, and there was no HR team there to help with my problems.

Management is incompetent and I'm surprised they actually make money. The workplace culture is super toxic. All the blame falls on to 1 department regardless of the issue. The hardest part of the job is figuring out a solution the big wigs couldn't figure out. 

It is a high production atmosphere with many opportunities to learn. There is a sense of team amongst the different departments. Most of the employees were great to get along with.    

Nice place to work, General manager at Stevensville plant is very nice and accommodating.  Strong attention to detail on assembly line.  very high quality windows are manufactured in their two plants.

Do not work for this company if you value job security. Management is a complete joke. They don't care about anyone but themselves. They will lay you off without notice the day of because their sales team is too lazy to actually work.
