I enjoy my co- workers as they tend to make the day go by quickly with interaction and positive attitudes while safety is a top priority. Management is very supportive in all aspects whether it involves work or home life.
The opportunity to increase my skills in the field of safety has been very rewarding with Ferus.
The difficult part of the company is the Geographic's  as the company spans from United States to northern British Columbia.

Ferus is all oil field related, especially the well services side. If they're not fracking there's is very little work. If your looking for steady and consistent work I wouldn't recommend Ferus, even in 2022 as they have all there eggs in one basket and that's N2. No benefits, OT is after 60 hours in a week, trucks are all automatics. Dispatch only cares about getting loads covered and not the hours drivers are getting.


Business has been struggling for quite some time now. Ferus' culture and management attempt to be fair to employees but like everyone else in Alberta the money isn't there to support. Everybody's hands are tied and most decisions are micromanaged to save a buck.

Poorly run, no stability, no accountability for peoples actions.

There are no advancement opportunities unless you’re part of the good old boys club.


Ferus is a great company to bad I couldn't keep up the contract.
But it gave me a chance to learn a new job and more training for the future and my past caught up with me.

enjoyed working there wages were changing and could make equivalent income at home the employees were excellent friendly staff the job was easy the difficult part was navigating the roads for delivery of nitrogen

Operations and Safety actually worked to improve all customer relations. Drivers were listened too and appreciated. The vision to change, adapt and charge forward were the greatest assets here.

great place to work. just with the slow down there is not enough work.
they treat you well and I was a good place and good bosses.
just the lack of work made it that they had to lay off most of there drivers

Friendly office environment, very team oriented; work-hard play, hard culture although not a lot of room for advancement.

Was a good company to work for but it wont be the same again. Good people to work with. Work and home life balance was good. Just need more shop supplied tools like a hydraulic press.
