The typical day at Fido Solutions can be pretty hectic. There is a constant slew of customers needing help. When I first started working there, I found it stressful. Now, I am used to it and it is just another part of the job. Many clients come to the store in order to upgrade their device or become Fido customers. Basically, most customers come in order to do a transaction. There are still many clients who come for assistance and information about Fido. 

Working at Fido allowed me to learn how to sell different types of products and services. The management is great and, whenever I have a problem, I do not have to stress about telling my boss something. All my coworkers are also great. The environment is super fun and super comfortable. We do not fight for sales, but rather help each other get the maximum amount of sales properly. 

The hardest part of the job is getting people do buy products or services because not everybody wants to pay an extra penny. By explaining the benefits (whether short or long run), it is possible to get that client to choose an extra product or service.

Day at work: help customer with their accounts, opening new accounts.inform customers about what is happening in their account and advice on products that could be beneficial and save them money.The most rewarding part of this job is to be able to help people and meet their needs.
What can e learn through the years working is that when you show people that you care to help them and provide them what they are looking for,gives them the sense of trust and that makes a difference in deciding in keeping the service that you can offer to them. They come come back to you because of that bond that you can hav with a client that make them feel secure.which i think makes the difference between competitors.
I belive to be an open mindperson,been ale to listen and respect the ideasof the people that work with regardless religion,sexual preference or gender, I enjoy been part of a team.and provide ideas that could be benefiacial to the company.

Working at Fido was a decent experience overall. As an employee, the job mainly involved helping customers with their phone plans, devices, and general account issues. Some days were busy, especially when there were promotions or a lot of customers coming in with questions. The work itself wasn’t too complicated, but it did require patience and good communication since not every customer situation was easy. The team I worked with was generally helpful, and coworkers often supported each other during stressful shifts. Management expectations could sometimes feel sales focused, which is common in the telecom industry, but it also helped build confidence in talking to customers and explaining different options. Like most customer service jobs, it had its ups and downs, but it gave useful experience dealing with people and solving problems. Overall, it was a straightforward job that helped develop basic customer service and communication skills.

While commission levels can vary due to frequent adjustments in promotional pricing for devices, I have found the role to be consistently rewarding. Furthermore, certain store locations provide the opportunity for significant earning potential based on performance.

Perhaps this review is a bit bias. I believe that every company should allow their employees to strive and learn from their errors. Instead of allowing them to learn they just decide to let them go. I wouldn't trust going back to Fido just because all of the managers are bias. When asking for questions they never know the answer and it's always a different one.

Great position and super fun work environment. Easy advancement for anyone who wants it. Great money, fair base wages - usually minimum plus commission. Coaching and guidance is always available. Big on advancement and growth! I left only because the management changed and our personalities did not work well together.

It was a fun environment to work in. Daily tasks were carried out smoothly.Learned quite a lot about cell phone accounts and how to fix a technical issue one could be facing on their phone. Hardest part of the job was to sometimes we were unable to satisfy or offer the exact phone package for a customer according to their needs. Enjoyable part was a great team who was fun to work with and got along really well.

after the first 3 months every day is the same
good place where improve your retail\sales skills
the pay is not great but the benefit are pretty good and the share plan is really good.
be ready to spend long hours standing up(doesn't matter if you work in a store or in a kiosk)
move up in the company takes long, so don t pretend to became manager after one year

Awesome work environment! Fun job, work with great people, get to engage with new people every day. Earn commission on sales. A full time employee can move up to assistant manager after 1 year and then store manager in 1-2 years. Great promotions during back-to-school, black Friday, and Christmas times which lead to increased sales and $$.
