Over the past year, I've had the privilege of working as an Administrative Assistant at Finlandia Pharmacy, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. This company stands out not only for its commitment to providing quality products but also for its dedication to making a positive impact on society.

Finlandia Pharmacy's management is not solely focused on profitability; their mission is to drive change and promote wellness in our community. The company is deeply committed to green and organic practices, regularly organizing blood donation drives and community health camps to inspire others to lead healthier lives.

In my time here, I've found Finlandia Pharmacy to be more than just a workplace—it's a community that genuinely cares about its employees and the world around us. If your skills align with the company’s requirements, I strongly recommend joining this amazing team.

By working here you will feel frustration and disappointment. There is a lack of security within the workplace which only adds to the stress and uncertainty. There's no clear sense of direction or stability, leaving employees constantly on edge about their future with the company. It's a recipe for anxiety and discontentment.
However, the most egregious aspect of working at Finlandia Pharmacy is the behavior exhibited by management and HR. Simple questions are met with hostility, and any means of standing up for oneself is immediately shut down.
You will find something better, so do not put yourself through this. 


I enjoyed working night shift because the night shift staff are amazing to work with. We were an actual team like it should be. Residents were top priority and as we called it in grade school there was no click with staff we were all equal. This getting written up just because someone doesn't like you was too easy and if ur not in the click circle well your treated like garbage no matter how good of a worker you are. I was there for 7 years and blamed for something i never did because a rpn said i did and she flat out lied. My advice is stay to yourself if you can and always keep a log book time date,ect this will cover yourself just in case.

I worked at Finlandia about one year ago, for almost 4 years. I still keep in touch with many current employees. I recall that it was a mess, kinda dumpy, badly organized and very poorly managed overall. Management was a nightmare with the owners not seeming to care. So many issues go ignored, crazy high turnover and an underlying creepy cult-ish vibe.  I heard that all the staff were denied their Christmas bonuses! Unfair! What's worse is that they act as if they're doing you a favour by employing you! As if it's some kind of free education! Insane place.

Owner does not have a clue how to treat people or run a business.
Not worth working in this environment. Staff not happy ongoing issues all the time.
No policies and procedures in place, management word is worthless.
 The place became a place where I did not want to into to work once the owner came in and changed everything. He has the right to do what he wants with his money but it was nothing but a place that was a bully can in and would berate the employees. If you where not a yes man then he had nothing but hate for you

THEY DO AND MAKE YOU DO ILLEGAL THINGS BE AWARE

After 2 years, I realized this place is doomed. 
 What a wasted potential Finlandia has become. 

This place went from a mecca of health to a bargain discount store that doesn't care about the health and wellbeing of employees or customers.
Blaming staff for lack of sales. Taking away all perks (we used to get free products, great employee discount, relaxed supportive environment with actual direction. It's all gone now), management being mean to staff, management telling staff they're jobs aren't safe and to think of ideas to be able to stay.

They’re one of those companies that says we’re a family which means preferential treatment, overworked and little pay. Management is horrendous constantly coming up with bad ideas to grow the company instead of fixing the issues we currently have. Severely understaffed. Extremely low pay for each position recommend working here as a stepping stone while looking for other jobs cause  everywhere else pays more and wage is severely stagnant.

- Working with vendors, staff, and all departments.
- Learning the supply chain. From vendor to customer.
- Management depends on the department manager. With communication things are easy to understand.
- Lots of departments so it is difficult to stay focused when other departments cause drama.
- With a small company, things can change. Opinions are heard and affect the outcomes.

It was a great place to learn and grow.
I was there 6 years and enjoyed most of my time there. Very demanding with customers needs and over 50 staff. 

Finlandia management is consistently misleading in their interview process; regarding starting wages and employee advancement. 
They do not respect not value employee safety and failed to meet safety guidelines in each department. The high turnover rate is a good indicator of employee satisfaction.
