DONT work for this company!!! You are reminded every week that you are replaceable. That they can fill your position at any given time. They take the lies from the tenants over the word of their staff without even questioning what took place. There are massive amounts of favoritism from mgmt to staff. The company doesn't care what extras you do, nor the quality of your work. And if you do extras... they become a mandatory expectation. Yet your pay remains the same.  There are NO benefits, bonuses or incentive to go above and beyond. Your job is constantly being held over your head and threatened...and the double standards are outrageous!!! Please do yourself a favour and DO NOT work for this greedy , selfish inhumane "corporate" monster.

Working with senior management is great, they are always open to hearing new ideas and they encourage me to think of new and innovative ways to do business and clean up processes. They recently added a very comprehensive benefits package for employees which I think is great. 

Executive team is very approachable and great to work with. Some middle management staff could use help in understanding how to manage teams and get tasks done efficiently. 

Salary is competitive and they are open to discussions about pay increases that don't follow a strict percentage of increase per annum schedule. Overall, I think Firm Capital is a great company to work for.

I deeply admire the fact Firm Capital purchases buildings that in most cases have been written off in their surrounding communities. When Firm Capital is finished the re-positioning phase it is clearly evident that the entire community has benefited from the process not just the tenants of the property being saved. Being part of that process is an amazing feeling of purpose, it drives me to be honest.

The culture and people are incredible. I have made some valuable connections that will last a lifetime. The executive team has very high expectations for employees, so you've got to be sure to put your best foot forward as often as possible. If you perform well, you are rewarded just as well. It is a very fast-paced environment which means that you must have the ability to work well under pressure. I look forward to continuing my career growth at Firm Capital, the opportunities are endless.

Very  good  work  environment as long as you do your work nobody  bothers you

Check  the boilers and  walk through the building  rent apartments maintenance  work  I enjoy the work day  very much

The opportunity to wear multiple hats in my role has allowed me to expand my skill set and gain valuable insights into different aspects of the business. Despite a busy workload, the satisfaction derived from overcoming challenges is immense. The company's support and recognition have fostered personal and professional growth. 

Also, the weekly free lunches on Thursdays! 

Everyone keeps laughing at the incompetence of upper management. There isn’t one person who is working here because they are in anyway feel happy or respected here. Everyone (except maybe a handful at the very top) working here because they are stuck for one reason or another.

If you value your sanity don't EVER work for this company. They will use you, not pay you, make mistakes and blame you for them. It's a culture of fear that has zero respect for anyone. If you have issues don't expect HR to help either, they're absolutely useless, and only look after their meal tickets interests. My advise, look elsewhere,  you'll get better money, and most definitely better treatment. -10 out of 10 for an employer.

The culture of this company was very shady, however with this being said I was able to learn emergency repair technique on various systems mainly because service was refused from various trades. The experience was invaluable in my opinion and I do not regret working here.

Property managers often left or were fired in this company. We were abandoned in the worst building in Hamilton Ontario with zero support. The hardest part of this job was being asked to find ways to evict the remaining 20% of tenants as the building was 80% vacant. We were asked to t  hings to tenants to make them want to leave.
