Five Corners Meat

The management put you on a lot of pressure. You are consistently watched for the time you come in after break and lunch and the time you punched in for work. If you come in 1 minute late. The supervisor will report you to the HR who will then document it and perhaps take it to the next level of getting you fired. They make you do a lot of Overtime only to be paid fairly. Sometimes, the management will speak to you rudely if you are not as fast as they want you to be. You can be sent home if there is less work to do. Management use you when they need you.

The Management team say you are family yet when you want time for your mental health you are denied time off, never have proper Human Resources Department, the plant Manager demands respect yet NEVER returns it, regularly forced  Overtime. 

Lots of work but the salaries am receiving is not fair so much stress at work lack of communication sometimes too management forcing you to do more responsibilities lack of training to new hires employees hazardous environment or working place 

Be prepared to work steadily and learn everything and be fast all the while listening to both the lead hands and the managers. Lots of forced overtime. Lots of company meals   Very safe very cold but satisfying place to work

The only reason I stayed for 8 months was bc of the coworkers and tons of over time . After so long it becomes draining working 65 hours in ONE WEEK. Management is what ended up driving me away in the end. Mentally abusive to anyone they want 

The breaks were nice. But getting what to do from people that worked there wasn't. You were put on one line but told to go to another. The worst line for me was pork. On pork line they didn't tell you much on how to do it. Everything I packaged on that line got sent back.

Low Management, don’t waste your time to work them not good environment. And it is Union but you know what CLAC is didn't help you when it comes in trouble. Don't give your money cents. Plus the meat is very bad and not clean at all.

Easy to get hired but the job is very fast paced and there is mandatory OT.  Bad wages.  Management are mostly nice.  Repetitive work.  Machines constantly break down adding hours to the day.

Working with people that are mostly angry all the time or bothered if you are not giving it you all for minimum wage, they constantly want you to pick up the pace

No communication, nothing was ever good enough, worked you to the bone, if you dont want a life this is the job for you, you work 10-12 hour days most days, you would be lucky if you were able to leave after your 8 hours
