The job itself is straightforward, and the only reason this is not a one-star review is because the coworkers are great to work with and make the environment more tolerable.

Management, however, is inconsistent and often feels driven by personal bias rather than fairness. Your overall job experience can depend on whether you are favored, which creates an uneven and frustrating work environment.

There is little to no proper training from some department management. Employees are often trained by coworkers who were also not formally trained, leading to confusion and inconsistent expectations across the team. This lack of structure sets employees up to be corrected for things they were never properly shown how to do.

Positive feedback is rarely given, while mistakes are pointed out quickly, which affects morale. Overall, the lack of consistent leadership, communication, and proper training makes the job more difficult than it needs to be.

The best part of the job is the team you work with. The hardest part is dealing with inconsistent management and unclear expectations.

I asked countless times for more than one shift a week but was never given it, even the full time workers were getting part time hours. Absolutely ridiculous, they hired too many people and we suffered for it. The women who work there are extremely toxic and I never felt welcome at work. Most days I wanted to cry due to the added stress of these women. It’s worse than high school bullies. Other than that you get good tips but it’s not worth it, the managers were the only nice ones. Mental health is more important than money, don’t forget to put yourself first!

A typical day at work would be opening the store, balancing, doing ticket checks, opening the door at 11 am, and serving our guests. I learned how to balance and how to operate the lottery. The management team was always fair and friendly. The co-workers were great to work with; it was always a fun atmosphere and everybody got along with each other. The hardest part of the job was leaving when the store closed. The most enjoyable part of the job was making sure that each and every guest that came into the store was satisfied.

It is not that hard, you have to be a listener and be patient
when you are working at public place, to remember that customer comes first and they are always right.
The most enjoyable part of the job is closing at the end of the shift, and knowing you did well, and hearing your supervisor saying thank
you and good job today.

Food and Beverage Management is not well liked.
Senior employees are sticking around to see if they will get a payout because casino is slow and no new developments. Mostly shutdowns of positions that actually make money such as the Buffet. Scrambling to place senior employees in other positions according to senority. Remainder of employees are let go. I chose to quit as a senior employee as it is very TOXIC working there.

Management is running this place into the ground do not apply, unless you want 0 job security and part time hours in food and beverage. Cooks get 0 tips, management constantly harassing/ micromanaging to the point where you will lose your mind. constantly canceling and rescheduling shifts. constantly firing any decent supervisors/ CDP. DO NOT WORK HERE, for it will ruin your mental. 

I loved my time here until the new management came in and started firing hard workers, good workers, and just kept the yesmen.
Work life balance is hard. It is a 24/7 365 days a year place. Overnights are hard. 
But there is nothing like working for a casino. You either love it or hate it.

The casino is a fun place to work around whether you're a server, bartender, or just anyone who works around the areas that have the games running. It's mostly busy whenever it's a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so look out for that.

Fast pace, fun great team of people, making sure people know how to bet before spending money When people WIN ! Always fun, enjoy people all walks of life. Great food and excitement for all.
